Why is the blob shooting a Walmart logo?

I barely even know about Watchmen. Is it important that PC owners don't get it?

I actually liked The End is Nigh...not worth 20 bucks mind, and the boss fight is lousy, but still.

Am I one of the few people who actually LIKED The End is Nigh? Sure, it wasn't an epic masterpiece, but it looked very smooth, played fairly nicely, and was a good bit of fun. Maybe not US$30 fun, but steam had a couple of 25-50% discounts that made it a decent buy. It was like all the good combo moves/kills from Assassin's Creed (which I loved. I'd deliberately pick on big groups of guards just to do various finishing moves on them) mixed with a little bit of story, some decent graphics, and a bad-ass dude in a trenchcoat and mask. What more could you want?

We will care because...?

It wasn't really good. Cheap, but not good.
Wasn't that cheap - nearly $30. Thats a lot for a downloadable game.
Woah. I thought it was like $15-20.

Not worth $30.

Movies that are made into games always suck. Watchmen's no exception, despite being an all time classic movie in my opinion.
What about Goldeneye?
Goldeneye is one of the few that don't suck, I'll admit that, but the majority of them still are terrible.

When they say that they "won't be releasing" episode 2, that sounds like it was already finished when they made this decision. So why not release it even if it sucks? That's never stopped bad games before; if its done, just release it anyway, make a few bucks (maybe), then just cancel the rest.

Admittedly, I haven't played The End Is Nigh, but considering the reviews it was getting, is the fact that Episode 2 isn't coming to PC really that big a loss?

It just doesn't seem like that big a deal to me.

Initially, I want to be upset that they are leaving out my platform of choice. Then, I realized that the game kinda sucks.
Exactly this.
As much as I wanted a great Watchmen game, it just isn't happening.

Ok, I won't comment on the quality of the game.

But, judging by the type of game it is (from the camera angle on google and wikipedia), It's not the kind of game I'd want on pc. Only third person games (and I mean exclusively third person, not Elder Scrolls IV and SW battlefront) I want on the PC are MMOs.

They shouldn't have even made a movie. Alan Moore wrote The Watchmen to showcase all the things that could be done in a comic book that COULDN'T be done in a movie. But Hollywood knows best, I guess.
Hollywood always knows best, apparently. The way they treated him over TLOEG was one of the reasons Alan Moore severed ties with Warner Brothers in the first place, plus Watchmen, and the furor when TLOEG was the reason for a court case against Warner from a guy who reckoned they'd used Alan Moore's work as a workaround to plagiarize his stuff. Yeah, Alan Moore isn't a big fan of big companies, he even split ties with DC because of all the fuss they kept making over creative control and so on. He decided Volume III: Century isn't worthy of their time so he's working with Top Shelf comics now...

TBF, Moore doesn't believe God himself could film his books, and he wasn't this vocal over the Swamp Thing film, despite it being cheese-tastic [http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/swamp_thing/].

Ever hear Anne Rice over Interview with the Vampire when she heard about who was in it?

Yeah, that just makes me wonder why in the heck Moore gets so mad about his stories getting made into movies; isn't he the one who allowed them to be optioned in the first place?
