Woah. I thought it was like $15-20.Indigo_Dingo said:Wasn't that cheap - nearly $30. Thats a lot for a downloadable game.Abedeus said:We will care because...?
It wasn't really good. Cheap, but not good.
Goldeneye is one of the few that don't suck, I'll admit that, but the majority of them still are terrible.Random argument man said:What about Goldeneye?Zombie_Fish said:Movies that are made into games always suck. Watchmen's no exception, despite being an all time classic movie in my opinion.
Exactly this.Xanadu84 said:Initially, I want to be upset that they are leaving out my platform of choice. Then, I realized that the game kinda sucks.
Hollywood always knows best, apparently. The way they treated him over TLOEG was one of the reasons Alan Moore severed ties with Warner Brothers in the first place, plus Watchmen, and the furor when TLOEG was the reason for a court case against Warner from a guy who reckoned they'd used Alan Moore's work as a workaround to plagiarize his stuff. Yeah, Alan Moore isn't a big fan of big companies, he even split ties with DC because of all the fuss they kept making over creative control and so on. He decided Volume III: Century isn't worthy of their time so he's working with Top Shelf comics now...odubya23 said:They shouldn't have even made a movie. Alan Moore wrote The Watchmen to showcase all the things that could be done in a comic book that COULDN'T be done in a movie. But Hollywood knows best, I guess.
Yeah, that just makes me wonder why in the heck Moore gets so mad about his stories getting made into movies; isn't he the one who allowed them to be optioned in the first place?The_root_of_all_evil said:TBF, Moore doesn't believe God himself could film his books, and he wasn't this vocal over the Swamp Thing film, despite it being cheese-tastic [http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/swamp_thing/].
Ever hear Anne Rice over Interview with the Vampire when she heard about who was in it?
