Warner Brother's JoJo release is stunningly terrible

If so then wow, that is so utterly rubbish. I sincerely hoped that the UK release will be better than that which is probably will given to the little effort has been put in the US version.

Funny thing is, I'm going to start reading Jojo's Bizarre Adventure tomorrow, since I finally got my hands on a copy of volume one. As in, the first volume they ever made.

I wonder if it's going to be anything like the weirdness people talk about here. It didn't seem that weird when I flipped through it

Stands get introduced in Stardust Crusaders, and they're still pretty logical. Diamond is not Crash (at least it's hilarious DUWANG) starts bringing the weird shit and it escalates up to universal reboot.

In first and second story arcs, the wierdest things are poses and character propotions, since Araki (author) was still finding his style.

And there you have JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. It's basically weaponized vogue.

It's one of the few anime I truly love (helped by them using a Yes song in the OST, I mean dude yes) and yet they did that to the DVD release? The fact alone that there's just a DVD too is atrocious. I mean look at those pictures, look at those colours and that art, the sparkles man. That shit deserves some Full HD goodness.

For Jojo, this is exceedingly depressing. I hope the dub's at least alright.

Hopefully they'll fix this at some point, after what will likely be a huge backlash.

If the Dub is anything like what I've seen on Youtube, then that's a long shot. Those dubs were "so bad it's good" at best.
