Since yesterday, I've been receiving this message every time I go on The Escapist:

The website at www.escapistmagazine.com contains elements from the site alienradar.ru, which appears to host malware ? software that can hurt your computer or otherwise operate without your consent. Just visiting a site that contains malware can infect your computer.
For detailed information about the problems with these elements, visit the Google Safe Browsing diagnostic page for alienradar.ru.
Learn more about how to protect yourself from harmful software online.
I left it and went to bed, thinking it was just a minor issue with the website which would be fixed the next day, but I'm still getting it. Is anyone else getting this? False alarm, or is there something wrong with the site?

Edit: Clearing the cache seems to fix this, problem gone.

Something else is in your computer already, tinkering with your security.

Prepare yourself. It will likely get worse if you don't fix it soon.

How many times will people have to bring this up?

I use Chrome, and I never get this. Hence, it's something to do with your computer.

Download and run Spybot Search and Destroy, see if that clears it up.

Yeah, I'm using Chrome, is it only affecting those users?

Yeah, I'm doing a full scan with Norton/Malwarebytes at the moment just in case.

Oh for craps sake, not again.

Someone posted a pic or .GIF off of that site on one of these threads or in an article somewhere, and it is COMPLETELY benign as far as malware is concerned. This happens quite frequently, and it sends over-active detection software into a tizzy.

Stop worrying and ignore the ad.

These warnings generally come from ads, so, if you don't click it, you should be OK. I just checked out the page's source and their ads are oascentral so refreshing your Google ads status won't work. Unfortunately I do not know how to help you.

Do what this guy said, it works. It's been popping up for about a month now. There's no problem and I don't receive it myself.

I passed the info on to our ad people, but as far as I can tell nothing is on the site, or has been. We aren't even running any ad networks at the moment. It might have been a glitch in Google's malware detection.
Even Google's webmaster tools said there was nothing found on the site.
From the same incident about 3 weeks ago or now. It's been happening randomly to Chrome users since then, so it's a Chrome problem more then likely.

I use Chrome and I haven't had this yet but I'm not worried if it does pop up, just clear the cache.

Hope this helps.
