Meh, probably still won't buy it. Looks boring. The idea of a swappable controller mentioned in previous posts sounds like a good idea though. To be honest, I kind of like that design.

it'll have a bunch of different "shells" like the one you see. So you could have that controller, a Les Paul controller, a Stratocaster controller, etc. It's actually really cool.

A Les Paul you say? Activision, if you don't make a Slash Les Paul Standard model I will never forgive you. Either that or a flying v.

I totally have a flying v. Only it's black and white instead of red and white.
On topic, this is awesome. There's about 10 songs on World Tour that I like, maybe 15. Same for Guitar Hero 5. Then there's Guitar Hero 3. Which I love. I love Metallica more, but that makes sense considering my music tastes.
Just looked up the setlist. Yeah, there's gonna be great songs. Lots of great songs.

On the one hand this is blatantly a call to try and get the old guard back , on the other , that setlist is really quite good , certainly better than the hand rockband 3 has shown (at least in my book anyways)

You can't talk about Guitar Hero losing it's soul and try to lump 1-3 together in the same breath. 3 was by far and away the most soulless cynical cash-in of the entire series.

I got the game and tried it and it's like a mix of GH3 and GH5.

It's not very good but still much better then the last games.
