Was it worth it?

So, we all know about achievements and trophies and other miscellaneous tasks in games that require dedicated time and effort to specific tasks.

My question is this: What is the hardest accomplishment of your gaming career? What was it? Given a blank slate, would you do it again?

As an RPG gamer, I have just about too many of these to list, but I'll name a couple to get started.

On Megaman 64 (Legends if you had the PS version), The 2 strongest weapons were a homing missle launcher and a Laser beam. For both of their final upgrades, you get unlimited ammo. This cost 1,000,000 Zenny each, not including all the other upgrade. I got them both after hours of endless money grinding. -Worth it. Would not do it again.

FFX- We're all familiar with the sphere grid system. You can run every character through every space, and I did. Creating ungodly powerful teammates. Cuz why shouldn't Yuna do max damage with that pathetic little swing of hers. - worth it, I would do it over again.

7 Day Survivor in Dead Rising.
I intend on doing it again before 2 comes out so I can get 1000g on my new profile.

definitely have to go with unlocking Jedi in SWG... back in the days before the combat upgrade, before the New Game Experience bullshit...

It was worth it until those "upgrades" destroyed the game. And then I had to realize I'd spent 2 1/2 years devoting thousands of hours to something that didn't matter. I believe it was at this point that I began to develop a social life...

I never bother with achievements in single-player games unless they unlock new looks/levels.
In MMOs i do them because they are test of group work and often lead to some fancy rewards. The hardest so far? I suppose back in WoW doing all those annoying things like clearing a 25 man raid without a single death of anyone in the raid, and some of the hard-mode bosses.

Getting every achievement in Fallout 3, including Point Lookout and Broken Steel wasn't too difficult, just very time consuming. I imagine finishing Mass Effect 2 on insanity, which I plan on doing soon, might rank up there.

The only game I've ever played to 100% completion was Super Mario World, and I had a ball with it. I suspect that I might end up doing the same with Arkham Asylum.

I got the Little Rocket Man achievement in Half-Life 2: Episode Two. I had fun doing so.

Something to Prove in the first Left 4 Dead.

The most difficult part was convincing my 3 friends (who we'd all been playing together since the beginning) to do expert campaign instead of versus.

I got Little Rocket Man a few days ago. That's the one where you have to get the garden gnome from the start of HL2: Ep2 to the rocket at the end. You have to carry it around all the platforming and physics puzzles, and try to keep it in your car (i.e. not taking any sharp turns like you usually do) with a helicopter shooting at you for about 10 minutes.

Finishing it was epic. I'd probably do it again if someone wiped my steam account (not that I'm asking anyone to).

For me it was beating Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 on Realistic (Enimeys can pull off head shots and any more than 6 bullets will kill you) on my 1st playthrough. Also I suppose beating the CoD4 Epilogue on veteran.

I spent a couple of hours grinding for Red Orbs on Devil May Cry 3.
I think it was worth it because it helped me get some upgrades, but didn't make the game MUCH easier (it's still a game of skill when it comes to boss fights).
