do you think Shakespeare was laphed at in high school because he was that guy?
that guy that had all those drugged up thoughts with out being on drugs.
like
"dude, what if there was this girl and this guy, and they could only be togather if they killed each other"

i asked because im reading the tempest, not for any class, for fun.

I don't think that he would've been ridiculed, no.

Mostly because I don't think that high school existed back then.

Well, considering he was born into a rich family, no. No he wasn't.

Plus, I doubt that they had the drugs you're referring to.

Actually, Shakespeare's work is almost exclusively based off of existing ones. He was a storyteller, not a plot creator.

And I think everybody gets bullied by at least one person.

Even though its been pointed out that the difference in time periods makes this a rather pointless debate, using the stereotype of American high school to judge whether or not someone was bullied who grew up in England is also kind of invalid. Man that was a mouthful...
