$5 says they keep it in, and make it explode.
No bet. You would only get your 5 back.

The real question is if they are going to rewrite the script to make it possible in the story.
Dang, I forgot, its a Michale Bay movie. They never have rational story lines.

He should've just seen the cop coming and transformed his ass and jumped over the SUV xD

No! Bumblebee isn't dead! There is a person I know who owns a Camero with the Autobot symbol, as well as a license plate that says BEELIEVE.

I am not making that up, it is seriously awesome.

So, If I'm getting this information correctly, an un-piloted yellow Chevrolet Camaro somehow hit an SUV that was being driven by a 25-year-old police force veteran, all in the area where the third transformers movie was being shot? And then some of the film crew goes to the wrecked Chevrolet and puts a sheet over it?

...Ugh, my brain hurts. Allow me to process this level of WTF at another time...

shows you how shitty the construction on those models of cars are compared to police cars. bent the brushguard is all.

please let there not be another transformers, say it isnt so
I'd say that the car's crumple zones performed beautifully at absorbing the energy of the crash - after all, the camaro hit the SUV nose on, not the other way round. Sure, the car was a write-off, but the driver wasn't and that's the point of modern car safety features. If two SUVs crashed like that then I think it would be pretty bad for all involved ;)

OT: where was the explosion? If films have taught me one thing, if a car so much as mounts a curb, it explodes. Which is why I only ride a bike ;)

This cop was sent by his chief on a mission; unfortunately, the mission was to delay the inevitable: The release of Transformers 3.
you have to be right, it was termed an "emergency".

What on earth is that SUV made of? Jesus, i couldn't see a scratch on that thing.
New cars are made of aluminum, my VK Commodore or Holden Rodeo would have come out just as nicely :)

Since the last movie's title sorta had something to do with the plot, I wonder if they will have the finale on the moon.

If they do they better have Hitler and his moon base (Legend of Koizumi reference anyone?).

Eh, I'd rather see someone crash into those two stereotypical ghetto-bots from the second film. And then again... and again... and ag-NOW this time with a semi!!! :D

I never really cared about the Transformers during my childhood and now I couldn't care less what Hollywood does with the crappy memories of my childhood, so I found some shallow entertainment out of the Transformers films at least. Two things make me rather leery about this third installment though:

1. The title - The Dark of the Moon? Are the autobots going to reconstruct Skids and Mudflap so they can bare their metal arses at the Decepticons until submission?!? It sounds like an awful song from the 70's or 80's or a James Bond movie rip-off like Snakes on a Train.
2. Anything on the level of pure and simple "bad" that Skids and Mudflap brought to the second movie. Heaven forbid they revive them somehow...

But on the plus side, Megan Fox won't be contributing to the negative acting-aura that epitomizes vapidity!
