The date is Febuary 18th, 2010. A nuclear exchange between the nuclear armed nations of the world just occured. No one without the proper security clearance knows who started it or why. All the average survivor knows for sure is one day we were sitting down watching television, listening to CD's, playing games online... and then it all went dark. EMP's lit up the atmosphere and the world went dark. Mushroom clouds engulfed every major city and military base.
As you walk through the anarchy of the new modern world, you see an old friend and approach them. They tell you about a message being passed down word of mouth or on paper. They show you this paper:
- To all those seeking the start of an organized, safe and secure enviroment. There is a place in Maryland that has been untouched by the devestation of nuclear war. Ocean City, MD is clean, safe, and for the moment, empty. Pass this on only to those who can be trusted.
So you make your way to a possible future in a world full of madness.
Name: Trent Doyle
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Occupation: U.S. Army National Guard, Military Police
Appearance: Brown hair and blue eyes, ACU uniform with combat vest, rucksack, helmet and his M4 Rifle. Gritty from constant riot control and a scar along his upper left cheekbone.
Personality: Quiet and uncaring. Has little time for the personal problems of others. Very sarcastic and a quick wit. Wants to survive at any cost and willing to do whatever it takes to get ahead.
History: Trent was a Sergeant with the Maryland National Guard stationed 15 miles outside of Baltimore City. When the bombs fell, his Military Police unit was tasked with setting up a quarantine north of the city. At the roadblocks things got bad and the surviving civilians began rioting. When things went to far and a few of the troops opened fire, all-hell broke loose and the unit was scattered. Trent found himself alone and came across The Note in the hand of a dead civilian while taking cover in a ditch. He decided it was better than nothing and so he headed east...
Weapon of Choice: M4 Rifle (8 clips), Beretta 92F (3 clips), K-Bar Knife
