Ok, so I just watched the Ubisoft E3 presentation and this new game was shown.

I am sold already. Everyone else as excited about it as much as I am?

It looks so amazing that I am literally in awe. I just happy it was the last game, or I would not be able to finish my coverage on the site I write for, due to need to change my pants multiple times.

It made me all kinds of happy, especially if the freedom is as much as the implied freedom.

Cannot wait for it, looks really amazing. Ubisoft definitely "winning" E3 so far.

Absolutly fantastic man. I clearly think that if Sony can't pull off the chops, this could be the game of the show for me. The gameplay looked awesome, and just the whole idea has my sold. Go Hackers!!

So far, this game is the E3 winner. It's interesting, good looking, and best of all, a new IP. It's got so much potential, I just hope it's not all squandered.

Looks incredible, with the caveat that I want to see just how sandbox it really is before lavishing too much praise on it. If it's highly scripted and linear it'll be a lot less impressive.

Looks absolutely amazing. Everything from the initial trailer to the gameplay has me really intrigued. I just hope there's actually as much freedom as it appears.

If anyone has played Shadowrun (the tabletop RPG, not the shooter), this is kind of what I envisioned my Hacker as, except not as epic. Definitely going to keep track of this game.

I wouldn't get 'too' excited over this just yet...It might say "gameplay" trailer, but don't rule out the possibility that Ubisoft did some tweaking in order to make it look as cinematic as possible.

I have a feeling I'm the opposite of a lot of people. Sandbox gameplay tends to feel rather samey, so I don't mind if it's a lot more linear than Grand Theft Auto. I'd prefer it, actually.

I like it. But the shooting mechanics seem as boring as ever. But the little secrets it shows about everyone you scan, I could have hours of fun with that.

I'll jump on that. I prefer a tight story told properly. I think Yahtzee put it best in words:

"A game with freedom lacks focus" (or somewhat like that in his Batman Arkham City review). Nearly every of my favorite games are linear because there the expirience of the story can be displayed better.

On Topic: Like I wrote to a friend of mine: It all rises and falls with the DRM methods Ubisoft will use on this game. Normal CD Key register or Steamworks and I'm fine with it. Anything more and I'll pass.
I agree, a lot of sandbox games become boring after a while. The progression is not tightly organised and it is up to you to decide how and when you do things, and as good as having choice is, it has negative aspects. This intrigued me because it is a new concept not really explored in games so far (to my knowledge at least) and if they can pull it off it could have a lot of potential.

It seems pretty much what I wanted out of Human Revolution, but alas they decided to be lazy.
This one looks very promising tho, except the main character is the dullest guy they could possibly find, I'm not sure if they just ran out of money and picked a random nerd on the dev team.

We will see how it all turns out.
