So basically, you'd do what they did in the movie. Which, in reality, is the only way to do things. Three ways, in order: Polite, Persuade, Persecute.

At first, be polite, ask them to leave.

If that doesn't work, persuade them with bribery or blackmail.

If that doesn't work, persecute them, injure them and kill them if you have to.

That is, of course, if I agreed with what they were doing to the prawn in the first place...

Heck, if it was up to me, the situation in the movie wouldn't have happened in the first place. But we don't know much about the politics before the movie takes place or anything, so I can't really judge.

Moving them to district ten was a good idea. Easier to crack down on the nigerians, less hate attacks and less encroachment on humans. Moving them would likely require force though.

If I hadn't seen the film I'd probably say something along the lines of a herding sheep style manoeuvre, but instead of sheep dogs something bigger. (Like a trained dinosaur)

But as I've seen it and some of the aliens are nice fellows I'd talk to the ones that can communicate better and ask them to help us shift the unruly ones, and not have ago at people for having illegal stuff in their shacks until were at the next place.

Like the movie said, they're basically all workers/drones. Just need to persuade one of them to "lead them to the promised land". Even the one "smart" alien was convinced D10 would be a good place for them, so just get him to lead the masses and reward him with something trivial (like a lifetime supply of cat food).

Yeah but one of the reasons the humans were so hard on them is because the Prawns didn't listen to them and didn't really understand human views on law and order. I would have just gave them their own island or something, right from the start.

Inform them of what's going on, explain that they're on our turf and thus should play by our rules, but be civil about it. Offer to aid them further if they're willing to either work legitimately or help us reverse engineer their tech.
