Watchmen

I recently picked up a copy of Watchmen on Blu-Ray, there was a sale and i have never seen it bofore so i though "why not". I have nvr read the graphic novel, will i still be able to follow the plot? And if you saw the movie, what did u think of it?

Plot deviates from the novel quite drastically closer to the end, but has similar conclusion. I personally felt the movie was a bit on the long side.

But you should definitely read the graphic novel.

i have the director's cut, and its 186mins, but ill check out the graphic novel some time.

I read the graphic novel about less then half way through and then saw the movie, i'd say if I hadn't read that much first I would have enjoyed the movie a lot less, worked out good for me anyway, gives you a good backing as to what lead up to the events of the movie
