And you'll want one after seeing this! A jet pack that is powered by a gas water pump in its own floater that is attached by the rubber hose and follows along behind them, letting them stay in the air for HOURS

This looks pretty awesome, but you're kind of restricted by the hose. It would be somewhat fun to have lying around, though.

I think they get up to about 20-30 feet when I heard about it on a TV show

Oh I'll say it - it's going to revolutionize water travel. No more boats, hovercraft, or those ....fan-powered thingies they use in the swamps. We'll all simply travel by hose-laden jetpack.

....Seriously, I wanna play with one of those for a bit.

gonna be fun on the bun! yeah!
although i have to say, what happens if it jams in the pack and catastrophically fails?
that'd be some messy pickup...

It's restricted by a hose and a BOAT...not really a proper jetpack is it since you're just riding the nozzles.

It won't be awesome to me until I see Bond use it to escape an evil narwhal nest or whatever.

Other than that, it seems really nice. Using water to make you go UP instead of DOWN. Ha-haaa.

OT: I actually 'DO WANT' this. That'd be pretty damn fun.
