yeah that was annoying, although the Well was probably even trollier with all those recovery hearts and blue rupees in the small key chestsLieju said:If I recall correctly, it had one kinda BS thing about it, though, and that was the hookshot. You already had one, so you'd naturally try to use it at the targets, and when you weren't close enough, you'd assume you needed to find a new place to try, instead of giving up and returning there when you had the longer one.
was it the small key in the first room that you had to climb up the vines to get? that's what got meLieju said:The forest temple was the one I had most trouble with, for some really stupid reason. It might have been. I can't remember, but I think I there was some door or area I tried to get into, and was certain I had to go there, since there was apparently no other option, and tried different routes. And all the while I was supposed to do something else first, and just hadn't noticed a door or something.Purple Shrimp said:was it the small key in the first room that you had to climb up the vines to get? that's what got meLieju said:The forest temple was the one I had most trouble with, for some really stupid reason. He's pretty easy to beat even with the master sword as soon as you start using the right attacks. A locked on thrust followed by a vertical swing hits him everytime.Gigaguy64 said:And as for Dark Link, i actually tried to fight him with just my sword and won, with less than 5 hearts left.
Iv only recently learned about Din's Fire.
Well a lot of us played it as a kid you've got to remember that!Purple Shrimp said:from what I can see the Water Temple in Ocarina of Time has an enormous reputation for being one of the hardest, most frustrating, etc. dungeons in the game, in the zelda series, and in the world. HOWEVER I'm playing through Ocarina of Time now and so far it's the easiest temple I've experienced (forest and fire being the others.) DOES ANYONE AGREE

Excact same thing happened to me, same key i couldn't find.Gigaguy64 said:When i played it for the first time the Water Temple kicked my ass hard.
I wandered around the place for hours looking for ONE key, only to go into the tower for the millionth time, look down and notice "Hey, there is a door under that block".
Pissed me off SO MUCH.
