And if anyone finds a readily-available, non-conductive liquid with a specific heat as high as water, let me know.
you know, people use vegetable oil, mineral oil and other oils to completely submerge the computer.... Don't know how well it would do when it's just cooling computer with a pump... But hey, it's even better, you don't even need a pump (only thing you might need is to clean the computer in a while)

search "oil computer" on youtube

Delete at post screen to enter BIOS and it should be more than capable of reconfiguring to the correct boot device without having to enter the BIOS. Do what I said, boot device only plugged in to mobo, power up and when it asks to load default setting let it do so.

For that motherboard you want the Delete key to enter BIOS

Also good info here

Whenever a component gets wet you should ALWAYS give at least 12 hours drying time, preferably 24 in a warm room (boiler cupboard for example). It sounds like impatience was the killer here. Touch wood in the 5-6 watercooled rigs i've built the only leak i've ever had was a very, very slow/minor one at the barb on a reservoir.

As for submersion cooling, it isn't as simple as plonking it all in a tank, filling it up with oil and away you go. Anything above a low end machine will heat the oil much faster than it could move it out the tank. If you wanted to submerge a modern high end machine you'd need a serious pump/rad setup to exchange the heat, negating the whole idea altogether.

Quite often; one will catch a cold or flu virus while chatting at the watercooler.

Be sure to drink plenty of liquids and to stay in bed for the duration of your illness.

Real happy to see someone's PC saved, sorry I'm late
