Joe wanted to chuckle a little at how similar Jio was to him again, but he didn't just in case Jio took it the wrong way. "I'm sorry to hear about that... I never had a mom or dad either, the Creator didn't give me that much of a back story."

Joe started to nod off a little and almost fell off the edge, before he picked himself back up. "I-I really had a rough day today, is it alright if I stay with you for tonight? I could really use a rest..."

 

[Saltyk]

"Well, you at least have a creator. That's kind of a father for you, I suppose." Jio replied.

"Sure, Joe. I found an abandoned building and brought the children to stay there. It was some kind of warehouse." Jio paused for a second and clarified, "Actually, it wasn't abandoned when I got there, but I evicted the previous owners, the Dust Men."

OOC: Mind if I join in for character development? I came back because I realized I don't have much better to do right now.

Reginald was cloaked near Joe and Jio, eavesdropping on their conversation. When the topic of family came up he let out an audible sigh. In an effort to save face he uncloaked and said, "Sorry, I couldn't help but eavesdrop. The others are all asleep so I've no one to talk to back there."

"Well lets get going then, it seems to be getting dark." Joe fluttered down from the roof. "Do you think they'll be scared of me? Most people are..."

 

[Knife-28]

Knife opens the door to the roof and see's Jio and Joe sitting on the edge, as well at Reginald standing nearby.

 

[Silver Shadow]

"Hey three are you there?"

 

[Saltyk]

"I'm sure you'll be fine, Joe. But lets get moving. It's not far from here." Jio sees Reginald uncloak, "Whatever. Are you coming or what?"

With that Jio jumps down, kicking off the walls of the buildings to slow his descent.

Of Course! It's not like I need sleep in here.
Reginald followed Jio and Joe, jumping off the building and using his Icarus augment to safely float down to the ground.

Knife see's Jio, Joe and Reinald all leap off the building. He mutters under his breath, "Do ou know how many flights of stairs I had to climb to get here?" He sighs, and simply chooses to follow them off the edge.

Jio enters the makeshift warehouse and safe-house that he was staying in, and noticed that the children weren't out in the open. He looked in the old office and found them asleep on some cots he had set up for them.

Returning to the others, "It's not exactly four stars, but it works for now."

Reginald saw Knife jump off the building and tried to catch him. As Knife landed on Reginald's sturdy metal arms his spine snapped at the base of his skull and he was killed. Reginald shrugged and tossed the body aside before following Jio and Joe to the warehouse.

Well I don't really want to considering that stuff you said about being in pain. Besides you should really talk to Four.
Four was poking Mia's body as she lay there unmoving, trying to get a response.

"It's fine." Joe quickly draws himself a hammock from the ceiling, in an 'out of the way' area. "Thanks Jio, wish I could help you more."

Joe crawled into the hammock and fell asleep.

Reginald sat down on a crate. "So Jio. About all that stuff you said about...you know, not having a home or much of a family. I can kind of relate."

"No worries, Joe. Good night."

Jio looked at Reginald, "How so?"

"Ugggh.... Please four.....stop...."

 

[Knife-28]

Knife respawns and follows Jio to the warehouse. "Nice place you got here Jio." Knife says as he looks around.
