"Berethor! Are you okay?" Jio runs over to him and looks at the Mech, anger reflected in his eyes.

Laguna tried getting up again, putting his weight on his gun. He focred himself onto his knees, and saw Berethor, broken and stunned. Laguna turned his attention on the mech, raised his rifle, and fired a short burst. The shots went wide. Laguna focused, and fired again.

"Oh dear! Berethor!!" She runs over with Jio to assist in getting him back up.

"If you will not take me seriously I shall take my leave." Five struggled in vain to free himself from Joe's grasp. "Please put me down so I can leave."

Reginald let out a cheer as Berethor was sent sailing by the attack.

The mech fires both fists at Jio and Laguna, missing them deliberately before flying away... The fist then come back the IS mech...

Oh! we can't stay here, the others might be moving! Erica touched AEanna on the shoulder and teleported herself and AEanna back to the group.

Berethor heard a buzzing in his ears, but it wasn't the voices. They had been reduced to a distant chatter. He stared up into the sky, his helmet having been knocked off, and wondered what had happened. He vaguely felt his right hand blindly grouping for his sword, his armored fingers making little gouges in the soft dirt. He sat up with considerable difficulty and began looking around with an uncomprehending expression.

"Oh I'm sorry Five..." Joe put the cat down. He then heard gun shots. "Be careful Five!" Joe said as he ran over the hill to see what was happening.

He saw Laguna badly wounded firing at a giant mecha.

He ran up so he was in front of Laguna. "Silly question but are you ok?" Joe said back to Laguna as he stared down the mecha.

Laguna ignored Joe. There was only so much you can take in at once when you took a hit to the head like that. He stood up, and watched the mecha fly away. He walked over to Berethor shakily, blood all over his face from his wound. "Is... Is he allright?"

 

[Drakmorg]

Reginald Booed at Tabane for leaving. "Goodnight everybody! You've been a great crowd." He said, his voice dripping with bitter sarcasm. He folded up the chair and put it in his bag before walking over to Berethor and the others.

Five followed Joe to the others.

 

[Saltyk]

"Damn monster!" Jio looks at Berethor. "Hey, are you okay?" He had noticed the giant fist going by his head, but he ignored it. It wasn't a concern, right now.

OoC: Too bad, I had come up with an idea for how Jio could hope to stand up to that thing, too.

Scarlet shook her head, "Yeah, they knew what they were doing... God, I hate him... Doc Sparkle, I believe? Not sure... Anyway, what are you? You look like a pony with a cue-ball for a head."

"It looks as though he's okay... but it looks like he's taken a critical amount of punishment." She says to Jio. "We need to bind his wounds."

Berethor saw Laguna approach him and looked at his head wound curiously. Questions formed in his mind, but his tongue seemed unable to form the words. He grew frustrated and stood, wobbling a bit as the earth seemed to shift under his feet.

Erica saw what just happened and thought of going over to help, but she didn't want to leave AEanna's side. She began dragging AEanna to where the group was.
Damn, this body is so weak!
