I continue staring at the ground, wallowing in self-pity and my failure at Pegasi Alpha.

"So, you have a Thunder Rune? So, do I. Embedded in my left hand. Nice to see another Rune magic user." Riou responds to Raiden.

 

[Chungus]

Erica hears voices in the distance and decided to go there. This could take forever...

Grace finds her way back to her room, enters, and locks the door.

I don't say a word at first. Being provoked for a response might reawaken the Succubus... Or make Gwen hate me.

"I know..." I sigh, not a single tear from my eye. I lived through sheer dumb luck... The planet is dead, a corpse world. No, not even that. A hollowed out charred asteroid, destined to float in orbit around a decaying twin star.

"[sub]I just can't lose anyone alright? I..I never even got to say goodbye to Lambda...[/sub]"

"What the hell are you talking about.I don't need a rune.My powers are natrual as I am a lesser god"

Erica walked over to the room where the rest was and entered it. "Have any of you guys seen Grace around?" She asked no one in paticular.

"Rune powers are natural. If you're a God, or lesser God, you are by definition Supernatural. Anyway, I'm going to go to bed, I guess." Riou looks at Winter and the mason sisters. "You all going to be okay?" he looks at Erica. "She was here a minute ago. Didn't say anything and just left..."

I nod at Riou. "I'll be fine, thank you." my voice completely evading what I had said to Gwen.

 

[Slenn]

She dropped her voice to a low volume.
<color=purple>"Winter I understand... I have whole civilizations that are in me and my sister's hands. I completely understand what you're going through. I have seen plenty of ruined worlds and energy based civilizations that served as a warning for our failure to do our job. But you can't beat yourself up over it, alright?" Her voice started to become even softer. <color=purple>"It's hard to forget, I know. I just... don't forget that there are others that don't want to lose you alright?"

<color=brown>"Gwen... it's almost time to turn in."

 

[Chungus]

"Hmm. I see. Thanks, Riou." Erica turned around, about to leave the room when she feels yet another jabbing pain spike.
She falls over, passed out.

I slowly nod at Gwen, kissing her on the lips, and gripping her hand alittle tighter.

"Thank you..." I smile alittle, my voice tinted with gratitude.

 

[Slenn]

<color=purple>"You're most welcome, Winter. You wanna sleep next to me? Or is that impossible because of your cryo-tube-thingy?" She gives her a half smile.


Reimu and Gordon were already fast asleep in the bridge and the cargo bay respectively.

Riou picks up Erica and takes her to the Medical Bay. He leaves and finds a place to sleep.
