"So you don't know your origins?" Thar asked, slightly interested "That must be a real bugger then. I was expecting a longwinded story about your lifelong interactions with ones you know and love then a shot summary or joke to cap that off. But I'm a sentimental sod who has documented every last detail of interactions between my cast and the lower casts"

he pulled a large ledger out of his coat, it encrusted with dust and soot.

"The history of the Bronzgear Cast: A First edition Tinker lifeline, if you ever want a more dull book then you are more then welcome to have a flip through it"

At last! Daniel's stopped breifly as he saw a family of deer still asleep by the river in the early morning. He resumed his stride, trying to remain as quiet as a Dragon could be.

OoC @Ven: Couldn't he morph into his human form and eat something? Given that he'd have a (much) smaller stomach then.

"Well, I can't read. But you might wanna show that book to Grace. I bet she'd like it." Erica said as she sat down. "I forgotten everything, though.
Here and there, bits and pieces of my memory have been restored.
I could tell you my life's story, if you want. But if you're looking for a cheery tale, look elsewhere."

"Well you are in similar company, It was my actions that caused......" Thar stopped, he looked at the ledger, he seemed to be mulling something over.

"So you can't read? Really? what happened?" Thar asked, his mind focusing again

OOC: He can be hungry in one form and full in another. If he is lacking in one form he can make it up in the other and if he found an area where The Power was seeping through he could sustain himself on that. He'd rather not be hungry when confronting others so he likes to keep himself full as a dragon so it doesn't hit him later on.

OoC @Ven: Ah, I see. What's the Power, though?

"Nothing special happened there, for once. I just never learned to read." Erica replied.

"Really?.....Wow, I'm sorry I've just never met anyone who couldn't read in one form of scripture or another" Thar said, looking taken aback

"Well if that is the case then i might have something in my tool bag for you lass. Do you understand any kind of written text?" Thar rummaged through his bag, throwing tools and paperwork out as he searched

OOC: The Power is the source of Magic in the Witcher and it comes from areas and objects of magical significance. Sorcerers can feel The Power and Witchers can too. Animals usually avoid areas of the Power due to the dimensional breaches and such but Cats nap is places such as this as they are the only animals besides Dragons that can draw on the Power. Dragons often make their lair in areas thick with the power, coupled with the abundance of magical artefacts in their hoard and this gives them an insane amount of magical energy. What they use this energy for however is unknown.

OoC @Ven: Huh. Interesting. I should really give the Witcher a try some day.

Erica shook her head. "Nope. Don't understand a single letter." She said, giving a curious glance to Thar's tool bag.

Daniel's sneaking attempt was suprisingly successful and he quickly snapped up the deer before taking to the air. He'd shadow the others from afar for now. He rose high on hot air pockets, riding thermals into a higher altitude before maintainting said altitude with occassional but power flaps of his wings.

"Well that makes things a little harder but i can compensate, Ah, found it!" Thar said, pulling a small grammar phone looking device out of his bag.

"Now this normally interoperates text into the dwarves language. I normally use it when i want to communicate to someone who is speaking a language i can't understand, If i tweak this here and that in there then it might work....." Thar said, opening the box the speaker was mounted on and using his tools on the wires and mechanics inside

OOC: @Nail it is an incredibly adult game. Not because of the copious amounts of swearing and nudity but because of the realistic descisions. There is no morality system and its a world where the virtuous often meet early ends while villains can escape justice. Its alot like Game of Thrones but the characters are alot more colourful and the magic in the world is more evident.

OoC @Ven: Yes, I've read reviews saying exacttly that.
I'm really interested, but I just can't stand PC games.
The controls are always so messy. Give me a controler, any time. xD

"Ooh! That looks interesting. What is it?" Erica said as she leaned closer to Thar to inspect the device he was tinkering with. She looked at the wiring inside, but had virtually no idea what she was looking at.

"Well? have you ever heard of a gramophone?" Thar asked, glancing at Erica "a music box? any kind of device which playes some kind of noise?"

He kept fiddling, the gramophone-like device blurting out sentences sounding something similar to German

OOC: @Nail thats why I play it on 360 it was ported expertly very recently in The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition. PS3 might get a release but for now its only Xbox and PC which have it.

OoC @Ven: Alas. I don't have a Xbox. Guess I'll have to hope for a PS3 release.

"Hmm. No and no. I have a device that plays music though. I believe it's called an Eyepod.
No idea why it's called that." She replied, still curiously looking at Thar working on the device.

In the low light Daniel began to circle high above. One eye aimed at the ground and his great vision could pick out the few who were awake so early.

"An eyepod? what does it send the signals through your eyes and makes your brain interoperate the information as sound?" Thar asked, looking up from his work

".....Anyway i think i might have this thing ready, the only problem is that it sometimes can make quite a racket if the speaker rusts" Thar looked at the speaker, checking it for damages

"Now, here you go" Thar said passing the relatively small device to erica
"Just place it next to a piece of scripture or literature and it should read it out in a clear and understandable dialect"

OOC: @Nailik i might sound like a spoiled git (and I'm not trying to berate you or anything) but you don't have an Xbox?! i have at least one of every console (F**k nintendo, the wii is not a console)
