The Lictor picked out a target. Female and seperate. Its sharp eyes saw no weaponary on her and she would be easy pickings, it crept forward.

"This is Dionysius reporting in. Still nothing but enemy patrols, but I am running low on ammo. I'll reach the settlement Mexico City by tomorrow evening."
He cut the transmission and continued on.

James woke slowly. He was definitely feeling worse now. His headache had gotten worse and he had a proper fever. As he hauled himself to his feet, he also began to feel nauseous. Groaning slighylt, he bent to pick up his gear and shuffled out into the corridor.
