Winter was slowly exiting the medbay when she saw Makoto. She limped over to her. "Makoto.... You there?"

Makoto's body was almost still. She did not even twitch as Winter addressed her.
When Bernard eneter Makoto's mindscape, he would noticed there wasn't that much. It seemed to be a forest. Most of it seemed to be in shadow, and the trees in shadow were bare with oily blackness coiling around their trunks.[footnote]Think of the dream sequnces in ME3.[/footnote] There was a spot of light, a small circle of trees that still had leaves and grass that was alive and waving slightly. The lit space was just big enough for Makoto to sit, and there she was, sat down, rocking back and forth a little, holding her knees close to her chest.
