Sephiroth tilted his head slightly, his silver bangs falling across his face as he thought. Peace was what he sought too, and what Deliverance sought, and yet they all fought for it in such radically different ways.
'You seek to use violence to end violence?'
Something in Sephiroth rose up, some training or urge from his past life. He raised Masamune, levelling the point at the man. 'Perhaps I ought to duel you, if only to see if you are worthy of being the creator of this peace.'
He didn't know why he fought. Perhaps the being controlling him was bored again, or perhaps this would show him his purpose.
Perhaps what he sought was the best way of reaching peace.
And perhaps he would discover which was the best way by discovering which of the them was the strongest.
