OoC: @Jort Another scene includes Riou capturing an extremely skilled enemy general and his son a brilliant strategist (and nearly a match for his own strategist, Shu). The two will be recruited rather than killed (though the game gives you the option to command them to be killed, Shu objects as it's a waste of such talented soldiers). Mind you he kills other people, like Lord Gustav (a real bastard and potentially even responsible for the death of Riou's sister). Basically, everyone he kills is either quite the bastard, or a loyal soldier working to protect their homeland, just like he is fighting to protect the City State. So, no sympathy for the former, but the later is an act of war and he was a leader in that conflict.

One other thing, Luca Blight, the genocidal maniac, did. He sacrificed an entire city to the Beast Rune, one of the 27 True Runes, to feed it's power.

Before you think he is cartoonishly evil, his back-story is kinda sympathetic. He was out with his mother and father, the Queen and King of Highland, when they were attacked. His father escaped, but he and his mother were taken captive. It is heavily implied that his mother was raped. Repeatedly. In front of him. That is, until the royal guard showed up to rescue them. And that the men were later shown to have been working for, or soldiers of the City State.

So, evil genocidal bastard, but holy shit that is dark.

And one other thing about Riou. His Rune is an aspect of a True Rune. These special Runes have special wills and force their bearers into certain situations. Like war. His has a particularly special goal...

Anyway, I'm off for the night. I'll be back in the morning to see what happened.

OOC: Missing every single plot is ridiculously annoying. @ salty I would rate your plot, really I would but I was never part of it and could only read it the next day, probably the same will happen with Drak's plot and even if I had my own plot alot of people would miss it due to time constraints -sigh-

OoC: @Wacky It's pretty heavily implied that two of the people Riou recruits into his army were gay. Why would he flip out over lesbians?

Riou wakes up, folds up the sleeping bag, and gets ready washing his face and such. He walks outside and looks around his surroundings. "Such an odd world... There don't seem to be any runes or even any True Runes governing this world. Maybe that's notsuch a bad thing."

Seeing as how nothing else was happening, Riou decided to practice his martial arts and fighting skills. Taking out his tonfa, he begins some basic exercises.

OoC: @Rosh interesting fact. Riou has healing powers. Since his powers come from a True Rune, they should be able to heal anything. I'm sure it would ruin your plot, but I am pointing it out.

@Salty: Heal anything? How about a TPK? (Total Party Kill) Or death? Lots and lots of death. Considering that the ending of my plot depends on chance of the party, there are three ends. Of course the world is saved, but it depends on how sweet the ending is.

OOC: @Saltyk. You say he's super genocidal yet according to his Wiki page he's the main silent protagonist. I guess I'm a little confused as to whether or not he's really a good guy, bad guy, or somewhere in between.

OoC: Also, with the last part of the Paris Arc, it will also decide the fate of Winter and how she will act later on in the thread. Be ready.

OoC: @Rosh Well, as it is a True Rune, Destiny will be affected. It can change the destinies of everyone around him. Of course, the other half of this one isn't here and so it won't do too much. I already used it once to heal everyone in a restaurant of Kefka's poison.

The Bright Shield Rune is capable of group heals and some attacks as well. I'm gonna say that it can create a energy shield as well. It never had revival abilities, but if you want, I could bend the rules a little and say that it could do so under very specific circumstances. It's is a True Rune, after all.

Three endings? I did the same.
Ultimate happy ending.
Sacrificial ending
Everyone and everything dies ending.

Yes Winter is within site. Destiny huh? But with forces that are incomprehensible, and if you do happen to get the "You angered everybody I RP as" ending, certain characters (That become villains) will continuously come back to fight, even if they die.... Its a really bad ending, but it is fitting with the title of my plot.

OoC: @Slenn Here's Luca's Wiki page. Keep in mind, he had a really traumatic event in his childhood. Still he slaughtered countless people. Burned entire cities to the ground. Killed women and children with laughter and glee with his own sword. And sacrificed a whole city to the power of the Beast Rune, one of the 27 True Runes.
