Gerry nodded to TopHat and brought Asha back inside.

"So...how had Mia been latly? Any changes?" Grace asked, trying to change the subject.

 

[Random berk]

AS soon as Erica's gun appeared in Scarlet's hands, James darted to his left, lined up a shot on her head, and fired.
"Dio! Get Xu!" He roared even as he did so.

AEanna meanwhile raised her right hand and launched a paralysis spell at Xu, hoping that Scarlet would think he was dead. The boy stiffened and the fell limp as soon as he was engulfed by the sickly green light.

Asha just silently followed Gerry.

"Excellent. This should be helpful. This suit of armor should prove useful." Chanda said to Conall, a grin growing on her face.

Scarlet, seeing Xu go limp, puts the gun to his head, and fires.
Xu falls down, a bullet hole through his head. Scarlet drops all of Xu's Pokemon, and glows a bright red for a bit, before vanishing, just before the bullets hit.
[color=b40f15]"Oh look, the man of honor, and the deadweight, both failures in their duty. How about I kill the little cat girl, what do you say?"[/color] She says, lying on top of the ship.

 

[Kirke]

Dio jetpacked towards Scarlet, and cut against her with his sword while scooping up Xu with his right hand.
"Medic!"
He started running towards the ship, sheathing his sword.

Tophat aimed at Scarlet, but could not get a clear shot.
(To Erica: She could just as easily done that to anyone else, but now we all still have our guns.)

OOC: @Wacky Are we to understand that Scarlet wouldn't even flinch when taking a bullet to the head?

"NOO! Damn it!" James roared as Xu fell. AEanna lowered her hand and staff, numb with horror at what her actions had caused.

<color=brown>"Grrrr!" Sara shot out the hot lead bullets at Scarlet's body with small marble sized fusion bursts.

"Unfortunate." was all Grace could say.

"[sub]...Let's go to your room, okay.[/sub]" Gerry said as he started pulling Asha that way.

Erica fell to her knees when Xu was shot in the head, her expression one of absolute horror.

Tophat ran over to Dio, who put down Xu on the ground.
"AEanna! We need a medic!"

Tophat put itself on Xu's chest, and checked for a soul.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Friends? No, not by a long shot. But maybe you aren't quite as useless as other mortals." Chanda said, turning to Conall and giving him a grin. "So how does this thing work?" She said, turning back to the suit.

Four saw Mia wake up and jumped up to hug her. "Mia! You're awake! You had me worried." She said.

Asha continued to silently follow Gerry.

 

[Wackymon]

Scarlet... glows a bright red for a bit, before vanishing, just before the bullets hit.

She teleported out of the way... but that sounds a fair bit asspully, so...

Scarlet blocks the bullet to her head with Xu's remains, blocking the rest of the attacks with the pokemon.

[color=b40f15]"Oh, he's dead. I'm sure about that. Don't bother trying to heal him."[/color]
She see's the bullets, and teleports out of the way, appearing in front of Asha and Gerry.
[color=b40f15]"Oh, look at these two lovebirds."[/color] She said, towering over them.

Xu's soul is in there, but he's very close to death, mere seconds.

 

[Random berk]

Seeing Xu laid before her, AEanna tried to push aside her guilt and dropped to her knees, checking for a pulse even as Tophat searched for a soul. She knew there was no chance. She could heal almost any wound, but she could not, and would not raise the dead.
