@Saltyk. The types of life and ecosystems on the planets in that universe is still up to speculation and pondering. I think that is the most probable case for that universe, where there is life everywhere in their own ecosystem. And I think from what you've said, Jenova and the Cetra are evidence of that. That's kind of enchanting to think about really.

OoC: @Slenn Sounds like we're more or less agreeing then. I even read a theory that each FF takes place on the same planet. Just very far removed in timeline (thousands of years apart)

OoC @Salty: Well, the Ivalice Alliance games definitely are. But apart from those, no. I don't think the stories take place the same world.

OOC: @Saltyk. I'd say tens or, most likely, hundreds of thousands if that was the case, given the fact that each game doesn't refer to to the history of another game, and some timelines in games extend to the magnitude of a 1000 years.
