Rose had finished listing the nice things that Joe had done, so she moved on to listing the character traits that Joe had that she liked. She still twitched and shuddered from the electrical attack she had taken, but she managed to avoid having it undercut her points any.

The screen cleared to be a near crystal clear image, seeing what had been said Joe started to tear up. "They're still fighting... for me!" Joe cried manly tears of joy the warm cheesy affection that flooded the void cast out the darkness and billion upon billions of blue edged screens appeared instead each showing a kind at that he had done or something that people remembered him by. "Go help them."


Joe started to output all the energy he could muster. On the outside, a very curious thing happened. An error message popped up on the orb, followed by another, and another... the orb was completely covered in mere seconds as Joe continued to try to take back control.

"You can't! It's not possible!!" The Pie Lord shouted as the energy ball started to fizzle out.

OOC: Hit him and hit him HARD!

"I was waiting for this moment." Riou raised his right hand.
"Forgiver Sign!" Green energy swirled around the group and healed whatever wounds they still had. Afterwards, it shot up into the air and seemed to stay for a second before it quickly expanded and channeled into the Pie lord with all the cosmic force of the universe.
After this, Riou fainted from exhaustion.

Seeing the energy ball fade and the Pie Lord panicking, Erica figured Joe was taking back control. Remembering what the brain had said, Erica charged up to the Pie Lord, shooting at him as she went. Once she was close enough, Erica grabbed the sceptre with the arm that bore the intricate tattoo, not knowing what else to do. She hoped merely grabbing the sceptre would be enough.

Grace formed a shield around her self and Makoto so they could attack in melee range and not be harmed by the attacks of others. Makoto let lose with a charged punch to PL's back while Grace slashed at his stomach with her knife.

Rose was about to prepare to shoot the Pie Lord when she noticed Erica running over and getting in the way of any shots should could make.
Why are people so eager to run into melee when me being a sniper means I can't do jack-diddly when they do that?
She noticed Riou fall over out of exhaustion and ran over to stand guard over him, seeing as how there was nothing else she was capable of doing.

OOC: @Drak: If she was a better sniper, or more crazy, she would take the shot...

Gerry went to help Rose guard Riou.

@Outis: She uses Rifles designed to be effective against armored vehicles, she'd have to be much crazier to think that firing at allies with that thing is anywhere in the vicinity of a good idea. She ain't trigger happy like those Mason Sisters.

You know you could just say "Being sure to not hit any of her allies" and all would be fine, right? No one would call you on it.

@Outis: There's currently three people blocking her shot. The only way she can be sure to not hit any allies would be to not fire at all.

@Grace: Man.... I hope you rot in hell...

The scepter was knocked from the Pie Lord's hand as he was blasted to kingdom come, and this allowed Erica to grab it without harm. As she touched it, the tattoo seemed to scan into the mass of the scepter and Orb. Almost instantly, Joe's and Jen's bodies seemed to return to normal, and Joe went to hug Erica with a joyous smile.

However as Joe was about to give Erica the hug he seemed to stop in space momentarily before bursting into light completely without a trace. This was when Grace stole the very soul that was keeping Joe together. The one that was also shared with Jen, and the Pie Lord. All of them disappeared into nothingness as Mark's ten year old soul was throw into the dagger.

Goo~ Bad ending...

@Zeph: Well, she is planning on killing a child, so I think there isn't much dispute as to where she's ending up.

Also, Great job, @Outis, You killed the thread mascot.
Wait, @Zeph: Does that mean all the other Joes die too? 'Cuz if that's the case, Grace just committed genocide.

Seeing Joe emerge from the Orb, Erica's face lit up with a bright smile, eager to return the hug. her smile, though, quickly faded as quick as it came upon seeing Joe burst into beams of light. She sat there for a moment, unsire what just happened. Sure that this was the Pie Lord's doing, Erica turned to face him, only to see he too faded. [sub]"Wha... What just... happened?"[/sub] she asked no one in paticular, her tone both confused and sadened.

@Drak: By all reason... yes and no, really all the other Joes were just different versions of Joe to test different personality performance and stuff like that. Regular Joe is fairly stupid, but Phoenix Joe is a bloody defense attorney. There are multiple spots where they could be actually. But all dead since Grace took the soul that held everything together.

They might have been the booberries.

Dead from the Pie Lord taking over

Dead from the universe collapsing

Or Dead from this.

This is also the reason why the dagger didn't come with the group. If it had, everyone would have died instantly like this.

@Outis: I wouldn't be a proper GM if I didn't give a possibility for a bad ending. Grace should know that nobody should be attacked by that thing.

"I...Uh..." Rose took out her black notebook and flipped to a blank page. After doing so, her hands started shaking and she held one over her mouth as a look of horror spread across her face. Then she fell to her knees and started crying her eyes out as she buried her face in her hands.

OOC: No, no, no. I don't mean to take this away from you @Zeph, but this literally can't happen.

@Outis: Dagger was full right? It can still drain the soul out though right? If it removes the soul Joe still dies since his body is literally existing because he's keeping himself together with it. Joe is in human turns only a mind and soul, no physical body really other than what he generates.
