Perhaps they did something they didn't like." He added, addressing Valvatorez this time. Hearing Bryce, Balthier enter the elevator where he waited for the others to join him. "Come then. It's not wise to remain on deck at the speeds we'll be flying."
Hearing Edgar, Balthier looked at him. "Getting aboard isn't the plan. We'll shadow them. Let them lead us to their stronghold."

"Why, I ought to...!" Ba'Gamnan growl as he activated his buzzsaw weapon. Gijuk dropped his now-useless gun and stepped infron of Ba'Gamnan. "Brother, calm yerself! We-" Before Gijuk could continue, Ba'Gamnan punched him in the gut and pushed him aside. "Hold yer tongue. Yer not the one who gives orders here."he snarled to his brother, then turned back to the woman, giving her a spiteful look at first, but eventually turning his weapon off. "Feh! I'm listnin'."

Black turns around to Rex. "Ok...Just...be careful with it...It's kinda...special...to me..." She said to Rex, then unwrapped the chains of her sword and held it out on her palm to Rex. "Armor and firearms....I don't think Ill be able to talk them out of this then...." Black replied to Balthier.

"it was a debt collection vessel. Best guess would be they sent their best down and left the scrubs in the bay. We can get in there, get Eve, and possibly get a second ship out of all this. Axton and Salvador boarded the ship behind Adam. After Salvador put his keg down gently, they linked up with the other vault hunters.

"We saw some kinda carrier ship. Gonna follow it, find out where it's going and what it's doing."

The girl smiled and her ears fluttered a little. "Good." She began drawing circles in the sand with her rapier. "In exchange for a significant amount of fire power and possibly general power, we want you to pose a significant challenge. An obstacle if you will, to test the capabilities of those you've already faced and more and who knows..." She looks at the Lizard Man. "You might even get some revenge out of this deal. Although we do require that you understand that by undertaking this offer, this contract then by all means you will have to listen to our instructions to the T. If we feel that you begin showing signs of trouble for ourselves and what we are doing then rest assured..." The girl gave an evil smile. "...You will undergo suitable punishment ending in an excruciating death. So do you accept our offer?" the girl says batting her eye lids innocently.

OoC @Berk: I imagine it having a small elevator bringing a person from the ground to the entrance. But since it's still on the construction site, there would be a gangway leading up to it. (I think)

Once everyone had entered the elevator, Balthier pressed the down button. Ten seconds later, the elevator stopped at the second floor. Balthier stepped out and walked towards the bridge.

Ba'Gamnan curled up his lip in what could be considdered a smile. Power? A chance to finally kill Balthier? This was too good a oppertunity to turn down.
"If ye wished to hire us, ye could've said so from the very start. Yes. The terms in this contract are acceptable."

Taking the sword gently, he takes a bit of scrap and scratches out a seal on the floor. [color=008888] "I understand. I'll keep your sword in shape." [/color] He inspects the cracks and places a large piece of scrap over the sword in the center of the seal. Taking a deep breath, he charges up his hand and strikes the seal.

The sword resonates and the cracks seem to be filled in. Rex picks up the sword and hands it back to Black. [color=008888] "Take a few test swings. The metal may have made it a bit heavier... But that's the best I can do for you." [/color]

Black took back her sword and looked at it closely. "You actually managed to fix it.....thank you Rex....you truly have my gratitude...." Black said to Rex, giving him a small bow in respect. "Hmm....that's a pity...I really don't want to hurt anyone.....but I suppose It can't be helped...." Black replied to Balthier, she held her sword to her right side. trying to get a feel for the new weight as she enters the bridge. "Yeah....let's go..." She said to Ryu.

The girl grinned. "Good." she snapped her fingers and the air rippled and split to her right as a swirling portal appeared. "Please step right this way... Wait I'm forgetting something... Oh yes." She snapped her fingers again and a smaller portal appeared on her left. She sheathed her rapier and reached into the smaller portal for a few seconds before pulling out a medium sized sack. As the small portal closed the girl turned back to the Lizard Men and chucked the sack at them. "You'll need those to convince the locals that you mean business. Now ladies first..." she said with a grin waiting for them to go through the portal. When they inspect the sack they will find that it is filled to the brim with gold coins.
