Ratsel sighed. "They died. My mother was an aristocrat, and my father... I haven't clue. They died together in a train accident, and being their own child, I was thrust into a position that I wasn't ready for..." she said, in a relatively relaxed tone.
Bryce laughed. "Not so many indians, no. Had to kill a few bandits trying to steal cattle, but the Iroquis alliance and I watch each others back. Used to have a few ho downs with my buddies, but we just called 'em parties. And funnily enough, I never said the town wasn't big enough. It was usually a shot through the temples that I used as a one-liner. Never was big on words. Now I'm curious, where'd you hear all those cowboy stories?"
