The low noise was coming from a communications console that was lit up with a red light on the bridge. The console's layout was easily understandable so that a channel could be opened for the transmission being raised with the Carrier.

And I thought my people were the only ones prone to shoving dangerous technology in the face of minors." She looks down at how much smaller Holly is compared to her before she starts gushing. "Awww, you look so cute with your widdle hoodie and proud face." Eve says as she rubs Holly's head.

Bryce's throat pulsed for a bit, before a much more professional and baritone voice said "Sorry command, we had severe fighting with pirates 9 days out. They pushed into the carrier and took out most of our command structure before we were able to stop them. I'm acting Overseer at the moment, awaiting new orders in the wake of this battle."
"She's talking about Yuki. She's that...what was it...she-no-be? Something like that." Royce said to Rex. "Alright, come on. I'm sorry. What do I need to do to make it up to you?" he asked Aggie.

Valvatorez cleared his throat before he spoke to the speaker "How incompetent is your government that you were unaware of this ships hostile takeover days ago? That none of this crew called in to inform you of the ships situation while our group was locked on the deck is a tragic example of why this world needs to be re-educated! Hear me now, I am Valvatorez, and we shall see to it that your government falls to us, and I promise you, there will be consequences for your actions!"
