Bullet raised an eyebrow at Yukino. "That could work... But then we'll be on the run again..."

Yukino shakes her head toward Bullet. [color=BB66BB] "We drag someone into an alleyway and get the information we need out of them. If need be or if they're uncooperative, we can always dispose of them to keep our cover from being blown." [/color]

She smiles a bit at Ratsel's suggestion. [color=BB66BB] "Ah, yes! That adorable little girl~" [/color] Her eyes get a bit sparkly as she says this.

Approaching the Warhammer's landing site at the edge of the clearingthrough the clearing, a young woman watched the people close by from the shadows of a large tree, cold eyes filled with an unsettling hunger ill fitting with her age. She shrank back behind the tree truck, and a moment later, Alex Mercer stepped around the other side and continued his approach, making no further attempt to hide himself as he stepped into the clearing.

"In the meanwhile... I need to clear that debt to Valvatorez and that Prinny. So I maybe I'll get some money that person." Bullet shrugged.

Ratsel chuckled to Yukino as the lift reached the bottom and the doors opened. Bullet and Ratsel exited. "She certainly is adorable... But also innocent. A bit too innocent for a place like this."

Yukino's ears perk up a bit as she hears Bullet. [color=BB66BB] "From interrogation to just mugging people? ...Are we that broke?" [/color] She tilts her head a little bit more. [color=BB66BB] "And... what's a 'Prinny'? It sounds kind of tasty..." [/color] The foxgirl drools a bit as she follows the two outside.

Turning to Ratsel, she shrugs. [color=BB66BB] "Can't keep the girl sheltered forever. It's better if she were to be exposed to reality now, rather than later." [/color]

Seeing Mercer in the clearing, she preemptively reaches her hand toward the hilt of her sword. [color=BB66BB] A spy....? No... It's much too late for them to have sent only one now... [/color]

OoC @Rosh: Okay. So, who is where?

Having made my way to the edge of the city, standing on the outermost wall. For a moment, I looked down, once more in awe at the fact that I was on a city, floating in the sky. Eventually, I spread my arms to the side and jumped off the edge. After a few seconds of diving through the air, I made an backflip so that my legs pointed towards the ground and grabbed hold of what remained of my wings, slowing my descend towards a steady pace. Dropping to the ground like a feather, I spotted the strange craft that I had seen on the larger one before it was destroyed. The people I found myself amongst back there must have used it to get to safety. Thinking little of it for the time being, I made my way towards the coast once I at last hit the ground.

Mercer grinned as he saw Yukino reach for her sword.
Now that's more like it." He thought to himself, recalling the apathy and lack of fear that Blondie had shown on first encountering him.
"Good afternoon, ladies!" He called out with affected cheerfulness as he approached. "Nice to see that I can consistently find a few of you dedicated insurrectionists up and out of bed at only a few hours past noon! Or could it be that some of your number have already set out for that city? I must have missed them!"

"Kinda yeah... As a merc, I'd always have some money on hand but... And a prinny is some... penguin... soul jar... thing that Valvatorez had a bunch of. I tried cuddling it and it started to grope me." Bullet placed her hands on her chest. "I don't get it..."

Ratsel nodded. "I know that a bit too well." Seeing Mercer, she didn't seem to notice, but she did, just watching his movements as she entered the Warhammer.

@Nail: Anybody on the thread now is at the Warhammer.

Yukino casually pokes at Bullet's breasts. [color=BB66BB] "Well.... you're well endowed in this region. Obviously, that penguin took your cuddling as a sexual advance, and thus, thought it just to grope you." [/color] Slowly, the foxgirl looks down at her own breasts, B-cups, and blushes a bit. [color=BB66BB] Kind of wish I was that lucky... [/color]

She raises an eyebrow toward Mercer and pulls her hand away from her sword. [color=BB66BB] Good to see that he's not exactly an enemy. He still rubs me the wrong way... We might benefit from disposing of him... "Insurrgents? The hell do you mean by that? And what does our group have to do with some dirty bum like you?" [/color]

OOC: @Dotslash If there's one living creature that doesn't have anything resembling a soul (or more likely, if any living creature did have them) Mercer would not. I don't know if you've played Prototype, but if you have, you'll know the big twist concerning what he is at the end.

"I mean that according to one of your equally unwashed comrades, the fellow with the wings and the and the old six-shooter, you people have taken it upon yourselves to topple the local government. That makes you insurgents. Though I've yet to see any of you actually setting foot within the city. Either you have some very good infiltrators working for you, or some very lzy ones." Mercer said, his cheeriness appearing more hollow with every passing minute.

Out of my peripheral vision, I spotted several familiar faces, yet one amongst them was new. He looked just as out of place as everybody else I had met since my arival. No doubt he was yet another stray soul, lost on the tides of chance. It would seem those are drawn to this place like moths to a flame.
Dismissing the thought and turning to the coast, I started to think about what it was Kain wished me to unearth here. Since my arival, I had seen things both familiar and alien, yet none of them seemed significant. So why then was I brought here? What was I expected to learn? However hard I tried, I couldn't think of an answer.

Bullet raised an eyebrow at Yukino poking at her boobs, but then shrugs. "I still don't get it. These things are tactically useless bags of fat."

Ratsel exits the Warhammer with Holly over her head snoring and Black in her arms sleeping. "How bothersome."

[color=BB66BB] "I'm not sure what those two cowboys told you, but we're simply extracting someone who will supposedly get us back to our own dimensions. They just happen to be in the local authorities' custody. If you want to get your kicks off from inciting anarchy up there, go right ahead. It'll make our job easier." [/color] She reappears from the ship, holding a snoring Majeh on her back.

Bullet titled her head slightly at Yukino then shrugged as she received Black to carry. She started making her way back to the lift as did Ratsel.

"I guess... But still."

Valvatorez and Fenrich walked towards the group. Valvatorez eyed Mercer "Ah! Another addition to our merry band I assume?"

At a loss, and my mind too ill at ease to enjoy the serenity of the waves, I turned around to see several people being caried out of the craft. My curiousity piqued by the sight, I decided to rejoin them once more, if only for a lack of anything better to do. Thus I began making my way over to the craft.

Mercer turned to fix his gaze on Valvatorez.
"Some of your aims coincide with mine." He conceded. "One of your band... that's unlikely."

Yukino walks onto the deck and simply sighs at Bullet. [color=BB66BB] "If you really find them useless, then just get rid of them." [/color]

She answers Mercer without turning to him. [color=BB66BB] "You'd like a demonstration, then? Very well." [/color] She places Majeh on the floor and warps in front of Mercer, her point of the katana a centimeter away from his throat. She stares at him with an icy glare. [color=BB66BB] "I hope you can hold up your end as well." [/color]
