OoC: Looking into the process of making Nox Nyctores and Armagus.... They require souls, specifically human souls. Though what to make of that... I honestly haven't a clue.

Yukino shakes her head and lets a weak, sad smile come across her face.[color=BB66BB] "There are those who value the joy fighting and killing over any form of life. I should know since I can get like that myself..." [/color]

She chuckles a bit as Holly hugs Ratsel and her smile becomes warm once again

As Mercer reached the point of the forest where the city hovered he leapt at the tallest tree he could find and began to sprint straight up its trunk. The roots were torn from the ground under the impact and it began to topple over but before it went down by more than 30 degrees he reached the upper boughs and sprang several stories higher into the air before snatching a handhold on the lift shaft. Punching a hole in the side, he wriggled his way in. Ten minutes later, he was back in the city streets.

Ratsel returned the hug to Holly smirking some more. "You are absolutely adorable.<3"

Bullet's eyes hardened at Yukino's mention as she balled her hands into a fist, but did nothing, fuming in her own frustration.

Yukino notes Bullet tensing up and sighs. [color=BB66BB] "If it will help you to relax, go ahead and hit me. For what I've done in the past, it's the least I deserve." [/color]

Holly gave a small giggle. "Aw, Thanksss!" She replied to Ratsel, she noticed Yukino smiling and said. "You wanna hug too?" She asked.

Black continued to think, she pulled out her pocket tracker and fiddled with it a little.

Bullet eventually loosened up her fists as she heavily sighs. "... No. I won't. If there's one thing I learned with my 'adventures' here is that... I need an outlet. Something that I can... use as a punching bag for all my emotions." she looks down and shakes her head slightly.

Ratsel simply chuckled at Holly's suggestion.

OOC: Dear God, how is it that I have not watched Firefly before this year? This stuff is pure gold! Anyway, time to shake things up a little...

Mercer grinned as he wandered into the middle of a busy main street and wheeled around, taking in the rush of life as the people, the lifeblood of the city flowed around him.
"Let the revolution begin." He said to himself out loud, with real enthusiasm, before crouching, drawing his arms and head close to his chest, then with a roar, flung them out again. Dozens of black, glistening tendrils erupted from his chest and back and pierced the bodies of the people closest to him, their bodies convulsing and writhing as he pumped his infected biomass into them. For a brief moment, no one seemed to realise what had just happened. Then, as the newly infected individuals collapsed in wretching heaps, the screaming started.

Valvatorez and Fenrich took the elevator back up to the city streets. They stopped and looked around, the only figures there without gas masks, as they did not need to breath.

"Do you hear that? All that screaming. Such despair here, these people need to be under our control more than I thought!" remarked Valvatorez

Fenrich bowed to him "Indeed my Lord, they will know of your glory soon enough."

Yukino simply gets up and leaves a clone sitting in front of Bullet.

Smiling at Holly, the real foxgirl reaches out for a hug. [color=BB66BB] "Yes, please~" [/color]

She takes note of the screams outside, but ignores it for the time being. [color=BB66BB] This is a quite crowded city. Theives and stabbing should be standard fare here. [/color]

Bullet frowned getting irritated. "Not like that." she said dryly.

Ratsel heard the screams outside and frowned. "Excuse me for the moment..." she got up and headed to find the sounds.

Holly smiled and ran over to Yukino and gave her hug. "There you go!" She said in a cheerful mood, smiling.

Black looked up from her tracker when she heard the screams. "I'm not the only one to of hear that right?" She thought out loud.

As the infected began to struggle back to their feet, the crowd in the street began to try and disperse, but the throng was too dense, and those unfortunate enough to be closest to Mercer were unable to get away as the creatures lunged on them, howling and jabbering. Mercer chuckled as his body began to encase itself in a crusted shell of reddish black biomass, turning him into a faceless humanoid beast. From his right forearm, a massive blade formed, and he leapt high into the air before coming down on in the crowd again, slicinghalf a dozen citizens asunder with the huge weapon.

OoC: @Random, would we be able to see what's happening, and how big are the creatures? Been a while since I've played Prototype

My gaze drifted across the populace. Watching them with interest as they went about their business. People leaving and entering their houses. People standing infront of windows, looking at the displays behind it. People sitting of a terrace, consuming food and drink. All of this seeming mundane behaviour strangely interested me. As I watched, a sence of familiarity came over me, as I relived the feeling I must have felt when I was still human. Wishing to shield civilisation from the scourge that would devour it.

My train of thoughts was interupted upon hearing chaotic sounds. Screams of pain and panic. Looking towards where the sounds came from, it did not take long before I spotted the source of the chaos. What seemed like a writhing mass of black tentacles, piercing through several bodies."My god!"
Jumping from the outer wall, I made my way towards the mass, intending to see what madness was afoot.

OOC: @Furi They're human sized, though the virus can produce much bigger creatures. I forget how that works. Mercer is among them, thinning out the pack and trying to create enough chaos to provoke a military response. He's encased in armour, so his face is unidentifiable.

OOC; @Random, can my characters see them from the elevators though? (I have no idea how big this city is or whatever)

OOC: @Furi He's not far from the elevator, but its a crowded street. You'll see the panicked mob and flying body parts before you see Mercer and his progeny.
