OOC: Don't laugh yet then. Even if there's no way for the regular infected to reach the upper city through tunnels and such, it won't be long before A) Hunters start to spawn and B) the virus becomes airborne. And Mercer himself wouldn't have much difficulty getting up there anyway, and he's basically a national emergency all by himself.Nile McMorrow said:
Blondie's shot hit Gijuk where he was armoured the most, namely the chest. While the shot brought with it made him spasm slightly and desorientated him further, he was otherwise unharmed. Reaching for his utility belt, he grabbed a flash/bang and threw it in the general direction of Blondie and Yukino. As the grenade went off, Gijuk shakily got to his feet, picked up his rifle and began making his way towards an alleyway, his helmet protecting him against the flash and noise of the grenade.
Occasionally looking over his shoulder, Ba'Gamnan ran into the alleyway and turned left, then opened another comm channel. "Take yer positions!"

Bullet's muscles tensed slightly with rapid eye movement. A dream of sorts she was having.

Rin ignored Majeh seeing that Rozalin had taken Rex and being Rin, wanted to see exactly why this creature would attack one of Ratsel's allies.

Alex Mercer showed up and gave a bunch of people a virus that basically made them zombies. Oh, and appratently the military doesn't give a damn about that because we're in the lower city.FPSfanatic said:
Rozalin frowned as she noticed the extent of Rex's wound, seeing that the bullet was still lodged in his chest. "I'm afraid you shouldn't thank me just yet. I believe I have to inflict some more pain before this will get better. From what I've read, you might want to bite down on this." She said as she placed an old leather wallet in between Rex's teeth. She then set about using a knife she borrowed from Yukimaru to dig the bullet out of Rex's wound, trying her best to cause as little extra pain to Rex as possible. After that was done, she set about wrapping up Rex's wound with bandages.
Yukimaru stood nearby, keeping careful watch to make sure that Rozalin and Rex weren't blindsided while they were vulnerable.
Bryce looks up at the shots coming from outside, and dives through the window, revolver out and at the ready. He then looks around in vain, before saying "Okay, what have I missed?"
Royce doesn't hold Bullet quite so tight, not wanting to spook her.

Majeh simply watched Ba'Gamnan from above. Giving no clue as to his presence and disappearing should the lizard ever think to look in his direction. Positions, eh? So, this is a trap? A smile comes across Majeh's lips.

Rex winces a bit as Roz digs the bullet out, but he manages to bear the pain for now. Spitting out the wallet, he groans a bit. [color=008888] "Now can I say thanks...? Although that knife really freaking hurt." [/color] He simply allows himself to lie down.

Bryce pulls himself up, and seeing Yuniko, waves and says "Okay, what the hell happened? Because last time there were a lot of people walking the streets."
Rin continued to follow Ba'Gamnan until he cloaked. Closing her eyes she calmed herself before advancing again in the path that he took.
Seeing that he truly escaped, she 'hmm'd before heading back to the inn.

Eventually due to some unforeseen circumstance, Majeh lost sight of Ba'Gamnan. He jumped down to investigate the area, but could find no sign of the lizard. Clever little snake. Guess, I'll head back and await his next effort. He turned and began walking back to the inn.
