The first hunter stumbled back as the second lunged at Raziel. When his sword came down on it however, the blade slashed deeply through its chest. It roared and clutched its chest with one forearm, then smashed the other into Raziel. He was thrown backwards into the waiting grip of the second hunter, who caught him in midair and slammed him forcefuly down on the ground, then raised its massive fists in the air to bring them down and pound him flat.

Alex raised one arm which splayed out into a wide shield of biomass. Caesar's claw scraped uselessly against it.
"Now that's interesting." Alex quipped, before bring his other arm which had mutated into a giant blade down towards Caesar's right collarbone, aiming to split him down the middle.

"Right, of course." Royce said with a more genuine sounding laugh.

Blondie decided to stay his hand at the moment.

 

[Slenn]

The girls backpedaled fast in a panic.

"Reimu, what do we do? How do we intervene in this situation? This is getting out of hand!"

<color=red>"I don't know! I had no idea Bryce had this kind of power!"

@Random: You didn't address if Rex's burst did anything, so I'm assuming everything kinda died.

Rex lies on the ledge, looking at all the fried bodies of Infected with water washing over them. He sighs a bit as he walks back toward where Raziel was, a little drained but still able to fight.

Yukino smirks as she hops up onto a rooftop to watch Bryce and Mercer go at it. She hums to herself a bit, hoping the fight would at least be entertaining.

After Black checked up on Bullet, she made her way out of the inn again.

Caesar's right hand reaches up and catches the blade, letting it twist through his hand, tilting it aside. He uses his left hand to pull down the shield a bit, acid already foaming around his mouth, dripping to the ground. He growls, before a new voice, thick and gravelly, drags out "So, would you idiots mind joining in on stopping this bio mutant from killing us all? Be really nice of you."

OOC: @Dot Sorry. I didn't notice it. Yeah, I'd say Rex would be well capable of killing the infected in the tunnels.

Alex was surprised by the strength of this new creature, but then began to resist with his full strength. He managed to stop Caesar from forcing his weapons down any more, brought them up slightly, then swiftly mutated both the shield and blade into his own large claws. Caesar lost his grip on the shapeshifting limbs, and then Alex kicked him in the solar plexus with enough force to hurl him across the street.

Archimedes really hated when people rushed out into battle like this. So he just flew onto the rooftop with his refueled jet pack. He sat with his legs crossed next to Yukino

 

[Chungus]

Being too late too react, I was knocked away when the creature lashed out at me, and before I could regain my balance, the second one grabbed me and threw me to the ground. Blue ectoplasma spilled forth from my body when I struk the ground, a telltale sign that I had sustained damage. Seeing the shadow of the beast, I noted it was about to slam down its bloated limbs on me. But these wretches were sorely mistaken if they believed they could get the better of me three times in a row.
Pushing of against the ground, I rolled backwards, nimbly evading the creature's limbs as it brought it down. Rather then attempting the make a swipe at the creature against, however, I leapt up from a crouched position, jumping onto the creature's back. Digging my the talons on my left claw into the creature's shoulderblade to make it harder for it to shrug me off, I thrusted the Soul Reaver at its spine, attempting to sever it.

Making use of the comotion between Bryce and Alex, Ba'Gamnan sneaked into the inn. There, he started planting explosives, not caring about the innocent lives that would be lost when detonated.

 

[Slenn]

Reimu's mood turned from panic to angry. <color=red>"Don't call me an idiot! I never intend to kill my enemies. But at least I can help subdue him so we can pump more information out of him." Reimu shouted towards Alex. <color=red>"You're not telling the whole story that we need to hear." Her eyes glowed a bright white as she gathered the spirit energy of the dead bodies that once lived.

<color=red>"Fantasy Seal!!" She shouted and 6 large multicolored energy balls, the size of her body, sprouted from her and homed toward Alex.

"Master Spark!" Marisa shouted, and a giant spectral laser erupted from her hands at Alex.

Caesar went flying back, but managed to extend his wings to slow himself. He eventually stopped and slid across the ground, feet grinding against the concrete. He glared down the street, before reaching with his right hand to his left hip, slashing it open. He reaches in and pulls out a full 3 foot blade made of bone. His left arm morphs into a shield, and he charges back down the street.

Black walked out of the Inn, looking over to See Alex, Bryce, Reimu and Marisa fighting. "[sub]For goodness sake...[/sub]" She muttered, then dashed over to Yukino. "What's going on with those lot?" She asked the foxgirl.

Rex is still walking back to the place he and Raziel had entered the sewer. [color=008888] "Looks like I ran a little too far... Hope that ghost/vampire dude's doing alright for now." [/color]
His now misty chain responds since they're more or less alone. [color=BB1100] "That thing you speak of is not going to be hurt easily. In fact I'd say you would more than likely to be getting in his way if you were to enter the fray" [/color]
Rex smiles a bit. [color=008888] "Snarky, as usual. Good to hear it." [/color]

Ignoring Arch's appearance, although somewhat surprised by his lack of idiotic cheers for blood, Yukino continues to watch the fight from above. Her eyes turn toward the inn door opening a crack and nothing seeming to enter or exit. [color=BB66BB] Aside from Yukimaru... I don't care much for the others inside. Let's see if they come to their senses in time... [/color]

She turns toward Black and shrugs. [color=BB66BB] "Those three are fighting that hooded man. Apparently, he created and introduced the virus that's ravaged this city." [/color] She leans up a little closer towards Black's ear and whispers. [color=BB66BB] [small] "I'd also check on the others in the inn. It may be dangerous in there." [/small] Better to send the Vocaloid to check out the disturbance than me. It probably wouldn't be worth my time. [/color]

OOC: I was under the assumption that Royce and Holly were in the inn so...

Royce was going to reply to Holly, but then he saw Ba planting bombs. "Hey! What do you think you're doing?" he shouted at him as he drew his Rossmore and aimed it at the creature.

Blondie decided he might as well choose a side and shot Alex a few times with his electric bullets.

 

[Random berk]

As the girls fired at Alex, he dropped to one knee, raising both claws which mutated again into two wide shields. The energy projectiles pushed his shields in but on one knee he had the stability he needed to keep them steady. When they ceased fire he pushed off from the pavement and sprang five stories into the air. At the height of his jump his fists thickened into dense pillars of biomass and he hurled himself downwards, slamming into the pavement with the force of a large volcanic bomb. Chunks of pavement were hurled all around along with a shockwave that would send his lighter opponents sprawling.


The beast that Raziel had mounted twisted and bucked, trying to reach him. His blade missed its spine by centimetres, but plunged through its flesh right to the hilt, and it howled, a reedy, choking sound. A rush of foul smelling air blasted through the wound past Raziel's sword blade. The other one thundered towards it and swung a burly fist at its sibling, trying to hit Raziel.

OOC: @Slenn Just off hand, would an extremely dense mass be more likely to resist or conduct electricity?

"Right, I shall let them deal with him then..." She said to Yukino, then dashed off towards the inn. drawing her pistol and sword to her sides.

OoC @Outis: Ba'Gamnan has his invisibility cloak active. At the most, he would see bomb "pop up out of nowhere" if he was perceptive.
