Yukino continues to slash Brawlers left and right, smiling all the while.

A winged creature crouched on a pile of bodies. Blood flowed from the pile. You could just barely make out the screaming faces of several men. The last expression they had ever made. "Kill... Kill... Kill..."

Majeh stands to the creature's left, looking up. "What is going on here?"

The beast stands, it's posture was poor, as it leaned back, allowing it's arms to sort of dangle and it's head lull back as though it was making no effort to keep it upright. He looked down upon Majeh. "Enough..."

Majeh looked back peering into it's eyes. "What's enough?"

He simply stared back with almost dead eyes. "Not... Enough... It's... Not... Enough..."

Majeh took a step back grabbing the hilt of his sword in the horizontal scabbard on his back. "What's not enough? I don't understand."

The creature suddenly changed it's stance to a more aggressive horse stance, arms at the side half cocked back. "IT'S NOT ENOUGH!"

Majeh was pushed back as the creature seemed to be radiating power. "Damn, all this simply from him venting his Chi... Well, I hope you're ready for Heaven's Arrow of Judgement!"

Majeh prepares to attack, but hesitates. He looks at his hands. "What's going on? What's wrong with my technique? It's not working..."
He reaffirms his resolve, preparing to attack again. "Fine. I'll show you the power of my Thousand Blades."

Once more, nothing happens. Majeh looks to his hands, again. "What's wrong with my techniques?"

"It's not enough!" The creature begins to stir, it's wings raise.
"Damn, I won't be beaten by-"

Before Majeh could say another word, the creature moved, so fast, even he couldn't react.

"GIVE ME MORE!"

Spoiler: Majeh's Death

Majeh awoke. "Wha-!"

He was in a cold sweat. "A dream..?"
But I haven't had a dream since I became an Envoy.

 

[Random berk]

Mercer braced himself as he was struck by the blast and kept his feet as he was pushed back. His back heel tore up a line of tarmac in the road behind him. He raised his head and grinned as he came to a halt after being driven back several metres.
"My turn." His left hand, the one that was not already mutated, transformed into a spike which he drew back, then thrust straight out ahead of him. The small blade launched itself at Raziel on a long, thick rope of muscle and tendon lined with razors. It covered the entire distance between the two combatants in just over a second.

As Yukino slashes through bodies, she could see a man wearing a fireman's outfit, watching her as she killed. He slowly begins walking towards her.

The figure watches Rex wander away from the group, and head in his direction. He panics, not sure if he should reveal himself or try to hide, then hears Rex begin singing. It comes as such a shock to hear singing in this city of death and chaos, the hooded figure simply freezes in place and listens.

Rex continues singing the refrain a bit off-tune. Soon enough, his chain on his arm rattles a bit, the black miasma around it a bit smaller than yesterday. [color=BB1100] You're being followed... [/color]

The guy pauses for a moment and looks back slowly. [color=008888] Is that so...? [/color]

Yukino smirks hearing the footsteps of the man, as she drives her sword through the skull of a Brawler and causes a small fiery explosion, sending blood everywhere. Turning to the man, her smile increases a bit on her blood stained face. [color=BB66BB] "Hello there, sir. Do you have any business with me?" [/color]

 

[Chungus]

Seeing the tendril launched at me, I barely had the time to react. Shifting my weight, I spun around 90 degrees, narrowly evedading the tendril, as it moved past where m intestines had been. Seizing the moment, I grabbed on to the tendril with my free hand, and after steadying myself, pulled it towards me. Despite my nearly skeletal form, I possesed inhuman strength, enough the effortlessly move or tilt blocks of solid stone, twice my size.
Wherther I pulled my opponent towards me or not, I kept the wraith blade at my side, ready to strike at a moment's notice.

The figure looks at her, carefully examining her sword. "Do you know the coward? I think she knows the coward. She might be the only one to understand the fun of maiming and murdering the innocent! Oh, to rip and stab and burn and laugh!I mean, you must know Bryce! He's the one that hides under a large hat."

Mercer growled and launched himself into the air with his blade raised, ready to split Raziel down the middle through brute force. At the same time his whipfist flailed and writhed ferociously in Raziel's grip, trying to knock him down and cut him to ribbons with its razor edges dotted along the length of the tendon.

A stream of fearful thoughts race through the hooded figure's head as Rex looks back.
Has he seen me he's seen me is he going to kill me did he and his allies cause all this death is that why he's so calm oh gods please save me... get it together! You chose this life for yourself, you abandoned your people to follow it, so FOLLOW IT!
The figure stands up and raises his blindfold.
"Who... are... you?" he asks, slowly. His voice wavers slightly at the start, but not too noticeably.

OoC: @Salt: Yukino's just in some arbitrary section of the city kind of close to the inn.

Yukino shrugs a bit, slightly intrigued by the fireman's changing voice. [color=BB66BB] "Maybe I do, maybe I don't~. What's in it for me if I were to tell you?" [/color]

Rex turns around and lets out a little yawn. [color=008888] "Depends. Who's asking?" [/color] He stares at the hooded figure with sleepy-looking, somewhat soulless gray eyes.

As the barbs of the tendril tore through my hand, creating deep lacerations, blue, slightly luminescent ectoplasma spilled forth. withstanding the pain, I pulled on the tendril yet again, raising the Soul Reaver to either strike or parry as my foe approached.

The fireman takes a step closer. "What do you want? DO you want the Blessings of the children of Adam? We could give you the greatest blessings...NO! You wish to hunt alongside the greatest hunter the world has seen! That, I can provide! Simply tell me where the deviant hive hides, andSHUT UP! Eh he he, sorry, they just have a lot of strange ideas. Although, we could give you something, I'm sure..."

Majeh gets to his feet, a bit shaky after his 'dream'. "That was strange..."

He stretches a bit and then somethings catch his attention. He looks off towards the direction Mercer and Raziel. Do I feel two souls in one body? Is that even possible?

He then looks towards Yukino and the fireman. Hmmm. That seems interesting, too...

Majeh begins walking in that direction, and leaps over to the next building. Once there, he starts running.

The figure stares at Rex blankly.
Sras! What do I say? I think I should scare him.
The figure clenches his fists and a cloud of darkness explodes out from his robes.
"I am Mokdravar, master mage of legend!"
Oh gods, he probably think's I'm a moron.
"TREMBLE BEFORE MY MIGHT, AND SPEAK!"

Mercer landed and brought his blade down with crushing force on Soul Reaver. There was too much slack on his whipfist now for Raziel to pull him off balance and even as he dealt the massive blow, he mutated his arm again. The whip melted away out of Raziel's grip to be replaceed by a large claw with three long, wickedly curving talons.

[color=BB66BB] It seems that I'm surrounded by mentally unstable people everywhere... This is almost as bad as the group of idiots back home... [/color] The foxgirl tilts her head to the side a bit and crosses her arms, a mischievous smile coming across her face. [color=BB66BB] "I'd suggest you watch your tone when you speak to me, fireman. All I really want is a challenge. This greatest hunter in the universe you spoke of... Who are they?" [/color]

Hearing footsteps close in on her position, her ears twitch a bit, but she decides to ignore it for the time being.

Rex just blinks for a bit seeing the cloud of darkness rises from the figure, glancing at his chain.

[color=BB1100] No, I'm not really a showoff. [/color]

The guy just nods toward the figure. [color=008888] "Gonna need to do a little more to make me tremble, dude. But my name is Rex. Nice to meet ya, Mokdra-- ...Uh... I'll just call ya Mok, if you're ok with that." [/color]
