The barkeep thought about how many rooms were free before saying to Bryce. "There should be three available. That'll be five gold coins for each of them. I'll give you the keys to the rooms as soon as I've got the payment."

Eve just laid her head on the bar whilst staring at her drink.

The couple that had sat at the back of tavern got up as they had finished and headed to the bar. The man placed a small bag on the bar and tilted his hat at the barkeep whilst his companion did a small curtsy before they promptly left the tavern and disappeared down an alleyway.

 

[Saltyk]

"A King? Well... I'm just a wander..." Ryu replied. "Anyway, there is a city floating in the sky. They supposedly took the leader of this town back here. I want to find out why. If their cause is just, then I have no quarrel with them. However, if it is not... Well, it wouldn't be the first time I brought something out of the sky."

 

[Drakmorg]

"Whether or not I am allowed into that castle is up to King Edgar, not I." Rozalin replied to Royce. "And you should stop stuttering so much. People will think you lack in mental faculties if you do so." She bluntly added.
She let out a yawn, then suddenly realized that she was quite tired from the days events. She stepped slightly closer to Edgar and said, "Excuse me, King Edgar? I'd hate to impose like this, but do you think I could stay in your castle for tonight? I'm afraid that I have nowhere else to go."

 

[DrChill]

The doktor notices people heading towards the castle they all seem to be a predicament similar to his own so he decides to follow them. [color="{skyblue}"]My god, they are running at amazing speeds what I wouldn't give to study them. No studying! No more studying.[/color]

 

[FPSfanatic]

Bryce patted down his pockets. "i don't suppose you can use some of the gold i paid earlier, huh?"

 

[Slenn]

"The same to you." He smiled back to Bullet.

"Hmmmmm.... I see." He said to Ryu. "Well then, do you know anything else about this city in the sky? Perhaps we should join you as well. We are explorers on this place after all."

"If you are looking for accommodations, there are spots in the inn in Figaro Castle. We will be happy to escort you and anyone else there."

 

[Furioso]

The cloud of bats manifested itself back into Valvatorez next to the rest of the group, with Fenrich close behind him. He started listening to the conversations, still nibbling on the sardine.

 

[Chungus]

Upon hearing Edgar proclaim that the group was alowed to sleep in his castle, Balthier grinned. "Ah. Things are starting to look up once more. I don't suppose there would be a warm meal and a bath to be had?" he asked Edgar, stepping forward. He looked at Valvazorez manifesting out of a swarm of bats and cocked an eyebrow. A peculiar way of transport, that.

 

[Saltyk]

"All I know is that it's in the skies and that they took the leader of this town. I know nothing else. It's why I'm curious to go there and find out who they are. You're welcome to join me, though." Ryu explained.

 

[Outisakanobody]

Royce said nothing and looked at the ground.

 

[CmmdrRosh99]

"Nice. A decent place to stay. Thank you Edgar." Bullet said. Remembering Black, she hurried back into the bar/inn and woke her up and brought her back.

As the two demons stop near the group, Rex slides to a stop behind them, sending sand flying everywhere. [color=008888] "Oh.... My bad..." [/color]

 

[Slenn]

"Balthier, there are certainly baths along with the rooms in the inn. What's a castle without proper bathing? Especially one that lives in the hot, dry desert. Oh, yes I forgot to mention, the castle is built to submerge underground through its use of sand gates. It was originally built in the middle of a desert and can submerge in case of emergency."

 

[Outisakanobody]

"Oh, uh. Thanks very much, sir." Royce said and tried to shake Rdgar's hand.

 

[Demonjazz]

Daniel and Ild come up to the motor place the barkeep talked about "I wonder if they have motorcycles here" Daniel shrugged at what he said and they went into the shop

 

[DrChill]

The Doktor comes behind the group and hears something about sand gates and baths. Staying at the fringes of the group the doktor listens quietly.

 

[TilMorrow]

"I suppose I could let the costs slide as your meal was rudely interrupted." said the barkeep as he handed Bryce three sets of keys.

Eve downed her drink and babbled some numbers at the Barkeep. He chucked her a set of keys as she walked past and she dropped 5 gold coins on the bar before heading upstairs to a room.

 

[Chungus]

"Very good." Balthier replied with a smile. "I must say. A castle that can submerge under the sand? I would advice against it here. Gargantuan beasts lurk beneath the soil here. It would be better to not entice them into attacking by doing that, wouldn't you agree?" Noticing a blue-skinned man join the group, Balthier gave him a curious look for a moment. But he said nothing and eventually turned his atention back to Edgar.

 

[Drakmorg]

"That sounds simply splendid!" Rozalin replied to Edgar, her spirits feeling considerably lifted with the prospect of having an actual bed to sleep in tonight. She sighed with delight at the prospect of a bath as well, though she began to have apprehensions upon hearing that the castle could bury itself in the sand at any moment. She noticed Valvatorez and Fenrich and turned to greet them. "Ah, it is nice to see you two again. I had almost thought those wretched beasts from before had devoured you." She noticed a strange looking blue fellow off a ways and gave him a perplexed look.

 

[Furioso]

OoC: Sorry, really tired, gonna get some sleep

As Edgar stated that they could stay in the castle Valvatorez proclaimed "Excellent! Come Fenrich, we shall investigate the mysterious teleporting castle tomorrow."
Fenrich bowed to Valvatorez "Of course, my Lord..." As Valvatorez headed into the castle Fenrich raised his fist into the air and the 3 amazingly stealthy Prinnies from yesterday appeared next to him out of nowhere. Fenrich bent down and whispered something to them, at which point the 3 Prinnies silently bowed and vanished. Fenrich then followed Valvatorez into the castle, where they found rooms to sleep in.


Edit: Valvatorez greeted Rozalin as he walked past her, and as Fenrich passed her he said " I'm afraid we have no time to talk now, but I would like to speak with you at another time" he then continued into the castle
