Bryce raised his eyebrows at the explosion, and raised his hand to wave the girl over. "Hey, got some pants for you, if you want to wear them. Going to need for you to point out how much shorter I should make them though. That or measure you."

The girl seemed disappointed in the fox's lack of reaction. She was at least expecting it to be a little more startled. She sighed again and sat next to the fox, again fussing with herskirt, angrily muttering at it.

In the black depths of oblivion, there was a sudden orange spark. mFrom far away, voices seemed to echo and reverberate like waves crashing off of rocks. The spark reappeared, widened into a line, then faded away again. Jensen frowned in his sleep, trying to focus on the failing display. Gradually he opened his eyes, and immediately knew something was out of place. His vision seemed oddly lopsided, as though he still had his left eye shut, and it was grainy and indistinct. There was no sign of his HUD. Someone was standing over him, looking away, but while he could hear their voice, it was distorted and incomprehensible. He tried to reach out and touch their ankle to get their attention, but his arm didn't respond. Scowling, he tried to sit, to prop himself up, to do anything, but none of his limbs worked.
"What the hell?"He mumbled fuzzily, still dull from his long unconsciousness.

Yeul finally woke up, yawning softly and greeted by the sight of Caius standing near the door of the room.
"I trust you slept well?"
"Yes... thank you." Yeul replied, still sounding rather groggy. "You?"
"With as long as you slept, it shoud be no suprise youhad a pleasant rest. I slept lightly, as I always do."
Smiling slightly, Yeul climbed out of bed and began getting dressed, Caius looking away to give her some privacy. Finishing, Yeul left her room. "Shall we greet the day?"
Caius nodded and followed after Yeul. "You will find that the matter of payment for the room has been taken care of."
"That's good to hear. It wasn't too expensive, I hope?"
"The price was reasonable enough. Although he didn't recognise Gil, the owner of this establishment was in no hurry to turn it down."
The duo left the hotel, Yeul holding a hand infront of her eyes while they adjusted to the light.
The hurricane continues to approach Troika as the events within go on.

The Disciple finally begins to slowly stand up, with her eyes still closed, hood raised and lower half of her face obscured by her cloth mask. She then begins to slowly, almost dainty-like, make her way from the helm of the airship where it meets with the Carrier whilst the air appears to ripple and tear as she seems to snap between two separate points as she approaches.

At the top of the most extravagant tower in Troika sits a man reclining in his chair as he looks out over the city. He sips on something red in a glass as he looks out. To his right stands a male figure dressed in a strange red armour that appears to have nozzles all over whilst at the table in front of him sits a young girl speaking to a woman in purple armour whilst the girl is sipping on something sweet. The man is waiting patiently as he knows someone is sure to come through the door into his room in a mere moment and that the following conversation wasn't going to phase him that much. He also didn't really care much for the state he knew this city was in because in more ways than one it didn't really effect. He continued to calmly wait as he reclined in his chair.

Finishing my practice, I buckle my sword again, putting my hands in my pants pockets. This world.. It's rather strange, and yet familiar at times.
The fox trotted over to me with patient eyes. "What do you want?" I ask it. It simply wags its tails at me. Sighing, I take out a small chuck of some jerky I had in my pocket and toss it over to the fox. It grabbed it out of the air and happily munched on it.

The girl walked over to Bryce, being careful of how she got up from her sitting position. She took the pants and inspected them. She then indicated that she wanted them cut down to pretty much short shorts level.

Bryce glared at her, and shook his head. "My dear, you'll need full length pants. Now, I may be willing to drop down to shorts, but I am not going mid thigh. It's unbecoming, dangerous, and most of all distracting for your fellow soldiers. If you still want it once the shorts are done, I'd suggest paying attention on how I work."

At around the same time that Jensen was reawakening, Mercer landed on a building close to the group and looked in on them curiously. He was in a better mood now, having regained biomass and brought his infection to the upper city. Assuming Raziel's appearance, he dropped off of the building out of sight of the others and went around the corner, approaching the group.

Large blue tents had been set up to obscure the site from sight. Although the corpses had been removed by the fox, the streets were still coated in blood. Occasionally, personel in hazmat suits could be seen entering and leaving the tents, sometimes carring suitcases, presumimbly holding forencic equipment. A few pedestrians were watching the scene.

Noticing a strangely garbed person with darkblue hair, blue skin and a cape, I simply watch over its next move. It reminds me too much of Nocturne.

"Yes, to all of those things. I won't have my fellow soldiers prancing around the battlefield in mini shorts. I don't want to have to carry you through a desert or make a wider path through a jungle, wasting time and energy, because one of my fellows decided on style over practicality. Other officers might do it differently, but I will not have you serving in this group looking only slightly better then now." Bryce crossed his own arms and stood up, pants dangling from one hand, as he stared down at the girl.

Mercer/Raziel grinned behind his cowl at the sight of the hazmat crews cleaning up the streets. So it seemed the local government were more inclined to take action when the terror struck close to home. It was as he expected. He might actually be able to find some entertainment out of the local military after all. For now, he meant to stick with the group. His main priority after all, was to return to Earth, and he could do that easier if they led him to the person with the knowledge to do that. As someone jabbed a cane at him it brought him back to his surroundings and he glared at her.
"Who are you to ask so rudely?" He replied.

The girl seemed to growl, but no noise was made. "...Fellow soldier?" she asked after a pause, as if not understanding quite what he meant.
"Shall we go explore the city? We didn't come here to sit around all day, afterall." Yeul asked Caius as she began walking away from the hotel.
"Of course." Caius followed suit.

The Disciple takes a step over the gap separating the airship and character before almost immediately appearing a few feet in front of Hellen and Jensen. Various shadows seem to snake across her person and the air surrounding as she faces them. Her eyes are still closed as she stands before them unmoving and eventually a voice begins echoing all around them. "Why... Why do you reject the gift I bring?" it asks in a sorrowful and light voice.

Jensen was just about able to pick up what the Disciple said as his hearing started to improve, but his sight was still badly reduced. He could only see a silhouette against the sun.

"Yes. Whether or not you truly wanted to, you landed in a place that is a warzone. We've been fighting and on occasion dying, and if you want to stick with us and be helpful, you'll probably need to kill people." Bryce sighs. "Listen, I'm sorry you're getting dragged into this, really, I am. But you've got a choice between fighting with us or hiding until this all blows over. You may not need to fight, but it would be nice to have you along, serving with us."
OOC @Nail Bryce picked up pretty much right away that getting Black and Bullet to wear actual clothing would be a waste of time. They were both superb fighters that didn't need his help to be good fighters, or soldiers, so he suppressed the need to interfere in their styles. Meanwhile, Outis's girl seems young, inexperienced, and new to the very idea of fighting. He got a bad habit of adopting kids during fights so that they wouldn't be stuck in war torn countries with no one to look after them, and that's what he's done now. While he may not admit to it, he's already put her in the slot of 'kid I need to keep an eye on' in his head.
