Seeing his blade get stuck, and Baciel making a swing for him, Caius grabbed hold of his sword with his other hand also and swung around, much like a gymnast would on a bar. Landing ontop of his sword, he jump over Baciel's shoulder. Before he hit the ground, Caius grabbed hold of Baciel's ruined wing. Hanging by the wing, Caius wasn't threatened by the demon's energy blade.

 

[Demonjazz]

Archimedes was flung back by the monster and screamed in pain again. He looked at the beast and decided it wasn't worth fighting any more. He sat down and started drinking some tea

 

[Saltyk]

Seeing that the Demon had made a blade of pure energy, Majeh jumped back. "At this range, I can easily react to such a thing. Now, let's see how you handle Sword Spirit..." Majeh smirked, still bloody as he drew his blade.

He held it out in front of him and energy started to condense on the tip of the blade. Slowly forming a ball of energy. It pulled away from the sword and floated there. It then launched at the Demon. If it hit, it would have an immense impact.

Majeh looked up as the blade started to come down on him.

And then Baciel died.

OOC: Sorry if that seems abrupt, but I gotta come off for dinner. I'll do something better when I get back.

Baciel's blade came down on Majeh...
Leaving a large gash in the ground where he was standing.

Bryce watches the creature drop, and begins biting his lip as his legs pop and regrow.

Rex just sits back to back with Echo before talking to Yeul again. [color=008888] "On holiday? I'm not sure why'd you spend a holiday with a group like us. And it's no problem if you aren't a fighter, we could use plenty of people who are sane to talk certain people out of stupid things." [/color] Seeing the beast dead, he looks back at Echo as he gets up. [color=008888] "It's over now... You're safe." [/color]

Yukino sighs as she jumps down back onto the street. [color=bb66bb] "They never last that long do they...?" [/color]
Her virus just sits back shaking its head.

Archimedes tried to get up but than found his left leg really did break. He fashioned himself a brace and some crutches and started walking towards the demon. "I swear I'll be a quadriplegic by the end of this"

OoC: So I really haven't been on at all in the past 2 days, can someone tell me what has happened, and what our goals are now?

Noticing Baciel falling over once the killing blow was dealt, Caius released Baciel's wing, rolling to break his fall when he hit the ground. Walking over to the demon's throat, Caius grabbed hold of the handle of his sword, placed his left foot on the Baciel's neck and yanked the sword out. [sub]"Fool. This is what hubris brings you."[/sub]
Looking at his sword, Caius frowned upon seeing it was covered in black blood. Resolving to clean it later, he walked back to the inn.

"I wished to see new and interesting things. And violent as this might be, this is certainly new and interesting." Yeul explained.

OoC @Furioso: Save for random battles, nothing much has happened. We were suposed to bust this prisoner out yesterday, but nothing came of that.

Marisa poked her head out behind the rubble.
"Is it over?"

<color=red>"Looks like it. Let's make sure everyone;s okay."

They took a look around first stopping at Bryce making sure he was okay.

Marisa saw Archie, and went over to see if he was okay.
"You alright? You need a medic?"

"It's...safe." Echo said with a sigh, obviously relived.

 

[Demonjazz]

"No I just broke my leg" He said sarcastically before hitting her across the head with one of his crutches. "Of course I'm not alright you dolt!"

I slowly start to wake up as I notice that the fox hasn't returned. Good.

A woman in a large brown cloak was walking towards the inn, muttering stuff to herself. "[sub]Hmmm... I wonder if anybody would notice? Meh, it's a possibility.[/sub]"

Majeh appeared on the roof of the inn. "Heh. And to think that Demon was sent to kill me. What a joke."

 

[Slenn]

"Hey, I'm trying to be nice alright? I saw your crutches and thought maybe you need some help. But since you were able enough to create those crutches on your own, I'm sure you're okay to some degree. Now do you want me to call Eirin to help speed up the healing?" She snapped.

@Drak: Would Baciel's soul be available for consumption?

Rex shrugs a bit toward Yeul. [color=008888] "Heh... Can't disagree with that at all. Weird how you almost always have the most fun when your life's in danger, right?" [/color]

He nods toward Echo as he extends a hand to help her up.

Yukino stretches herself out a bit as she waits on the demon's soul to enter her blade. Seeing the woman in the brown cloak, she stares at her for a moment, then just continues stretching.

Her virus says nothing as it watches Yukino intently.

@Nail, well... at least I didn't miss any plot I guess

Valvatorez and Fenrich were standing around the rubble, thoroughly disappointed that they had missed the action
