That's it! Finally something worth actually fighting! Using my Valor speed, I easily dodge the incoming bullets, as mysterious runes start orbiting my body, my absorption shield.
Grinning with excitement, I continue my approach to Rozalin, closing in with the first move of my repertoire, Broken Wings.

Aisha continues her strikes as she hops several feet into the air and while falling back down, starts firing fireballs at the ground with her right Tear Drop.

"Yeah, you could say that." Jensen said to Blondie, trying to make out his face from the blurry mess that it appeared to him. When he heard Archimedes he looked around sharply at him.
Scalpel? No no no, I don't want you cutting me open! And you don't have to remove the limbs to get at the wiring! Rex, can you take part in this? I think I'd feel better with two working on this. My suitcase was on the Carrier, and it had all the tools for working on my augs. Maybe someone could find it?"
"Yeah, I think I'll do that." Mercer/Ellis said to Yeul with a warm smile. "Catch you round, kid. You too, boss." With that he turned away and carried on towards the rest of the group with his katana still slung over his shoulder. Unseen, the smile was replaced by a cruel smirk.
Bought the whole thing. Now, we'll see if the others are still as easy. Wonder if they even noticed the disappearance of that Raziel guy.

"Trouble with your limbs? I may be able to help." Blondie offered as he blew out some smoke. "I could find that case too. Probably." he added.
Rozalin continued to fire a constant stream of bullets at Riven. She wasn't much fazed by Riven swinging her sword, as she was still enough out of range that it didn't threaten her. "Perhaps you should learn your weapon's proper range!" She shouted at Riven, though it was incredibly unlikely that she would hear Rozalin over the noise of constant gunfire.
Rex looks back at Blondie and nods, placing Jensen down near the front of the inn. [color=008888] "I'll go with you to find that case then, cowboy. ...Now that I think about it haven't seen you around much either. Where've you and Royce been?" [/color]

"Gathering info." Blondie said to Rex after a short pause. He started heading to the carrier site.
I could see that she was still talking. Why is that? Oh well, I'll figure it out soon enough. Using the second part of Broken Wings, I dash again, weaving through the bullet storm as my Valor's shield is still activated. It took some hits from the shots, but I was now closer to Rozalin. Just one more step to Broken Wings. And even then, Ki Blast followed by summoning my full sword again.

Yeul bowed her head as Ellis/Mercer walked off, then looked to Caius, already know he would state his mind.
"Now that you know these peopleare part of a rebel aliance, you still wish to accompany them?" Caius asked with a frown.
"Yes. Dangerous as it may be, this is something I wish to do."
"Even knowing this puts you at risk, you still persist. Why, Yeul? Why are you so adamant on doing this when we could just as easily visit a more serene place." Caius asked, crossing his arms.
"Simply because this is a interesting expirience."
Caius sighed and leaned against the wall of the inn. "Very well... But should I feel your safety is being jeopardized too much, we will return home."
"Of course. Thank you, Caius. I appreciate your respecting my wishes."

How am I possibly missing her this much? And once again she swings her sword well out of range. Am I perhaps fighting some barbaric, bullet-dodging, idiot savant? Becoming disheartened at Riven's ability to dodge a hail of shrapnel, Rozalin dismissed Rose Thorns. Her pistol came down right at that moment and she caught it. Now to wait until she gets closer... She thought as she spun her pistol in her right hand as the barrel began to glow magenta.
