Rozalin's voice started to break up when she replied to Bryce, his words seemed to have struck a delicate chord... "H-How dare you s-say that! My f-father cares d-deeply for me! A-All of the reasons I gave...t-they have to mean that, r-right?" Her emotions started to come to a head as she continued. "H-He has to l-love me...[sub]T-That girl h-has to be w-wrong...I am not a p-pet...[/sub]" No longer caring to keep walking, she fell to her knees and wept, uncertainty finally getting the better of her. [sub]"Father...why h-haven't you let m-me even meet you y-yet?!"[/sub] She quietly shouted into the palms of her hands.

[color=01B7FF]"So, you think I may not be wrong, zam?...Perhaps there is far more at play than we currently even realize, zam. I will need to meditate on this later, zam."[/color] Yukimaru pondered once again. [color=01B7FF]"Hmm? Oh, indeed I am, zam."[/color] She answered Rex, idly scratching behind her pointed ears. [color=01B7FF]"In fact, until now, I've never spent any time around humans, zam."[/color]

"And that purpose is? Stories are always up to interpretation. What you may see can be completely different from what I see." I said to Majeh, eyebrow raised.

I put myself in self-imposed exile because Noxus is broken. We had lost the thing that made us a genuine threat, our valor in battle. Because we are strong, we can overcome. Because we relish in battles, honing our body and mind to the fullest, we overcome. "Forever Strong" is our motto and yet...

We lost something; I felt during that entire campaign. Slaughtering helpless peasants that barely had the ability to fight for themselves. Yes, there were the few that rose up and fought: I respected that, their courage to overcome odds. But... Why did we lose it? Is it because we were so obsessed with victory that we lost our compassion? Am I just stubborn to accept that fact? Is that purpose now... lost?

Aisha nodded and smiled at Echo. "So your name is Echo huh? Well, I should tell you my name. I'm Aisha Grove, pleased to meet you." she held out her hand to Echo.

<color=red>"Roz...." Reimu's face saddened. <color=red>Forgive me, Roz. But I felt I had to be blunt. But I don't think that's all.
She knelt down to Roz. <color=red>"Roz, I assure you. There has to be at least something inside him. I didn't mean to hurt you like that. I'm sure you'll find justice in this matter once we're done here." She spoke softly, at least trying to be hopeful.

"And what do you think the story meant? To me, it means that some things are beyond your control. Sometimes, life isn't fair. But one should never give up." Majeh says, walking away.
"Would you act any different in the same situation?"

"Pleased to meet you." Echo said without too much enthusiasm.

Bryce eyes widen and he holds his palms up helplessly, before reaching out and encompassing Rozalin in a hug. "I am truly sorry. I don't know your father well, although I'm sure he has his reasons. All I will say is that I truly wish I could offer you more then mere companionship, but I can't force your father to spend time with you."

Yukino simply watches Ellis/Mercer leave with a smile. [color=bb66bb] Ah... Interesting guy. Been a while since I've done mercenary-type killings under an agent. This should be fun... [/color] She smirks to herself as she turns her attention to Riven and Majeh.

Rex just shrugs a bit. [color=008888] "Well, I'm not exactly well versed in interdimensional travel, so your guess is as good as mine. And I see... Makes sense that you are one, seeing as you've spent a lot of time with Roz." [/color] He stretches himself out a bit. [color=008888] "Probably thought humans were just a bunch of scumbags right? Well... this group may not have disproved that well, but we're not all bad here. What's it like being around other demons though?" [/color] He asks Yuki, a bit curious.

"Well, if you need somebody to talk to Echo. I'm here." Aisha then got up and started to walk away when she stopped. "You know what? I'm hungry! I need some Foood!" She exclaimed having a complete mood whiplash. She then proceeded to skip down the hallway.

"To me, the story is simply that. The boy was weak to give himself up at that point. The master would have killed him if he had put up a fight. But he didn't." Turning away from Majeh I sighed. "I would have simply fought until I died. That's how Noxus did it, that's how I do it."

Getting bored of talking, I resume practicing, tripling my efforts. Noxus is broken... But with my will and determination, it will reforged.

"...I'm hungry." Echo said quietly as she followed Aisha.

 

[Slenn]

Reimu and Marisa proceeded to join Bryce in the hug.

"I disagree. I think the master wanted the boy to kill him and keep fighting. Or at least to get away." Majeh replies, over his shoulder.
He walks over to Yukino. "You talked to that odd fellow, eh?"

Rozalin continued to weep in Bryce, Reimu, and Marisa's arms, a near lifetime's worth of uncertainty and doubt picking that moment to pour out of her. After what must have been at least a few minutes, she finally composed herself enough to respond to Bryce and Reimu. "I-I...y-you two...I-I know what I h-have to do n-now." She said, trying to wipe her tears away on her gloves.

[color=01B7FF]"I never actually had much of an opinion on humans until now, zam. Demons and humans tend to live very distanced from each other, zam. The only thing I'd ever heard about humans was that time they tried to invade a Netherworld, zam."[/color] Yukimaru replied to Rex. [color=01B7FF]"I think an example would help you to understand quite well, zam. You know that girl with the fox ears and the katana, zam? She would fit right in on just about any Netherworld, zam. I am almost certain you could introduce her as a demon, and no one would be any wiser, zam."[/color]

@Dirty: Couple'a fights happened, area's probably dirtier than it used to be. That help?

Aisha eventually found the kitchen area of the inn as she helped herself to making a sandwich. Seeing that Echo followed her, she made another sandwich for her as well.

"Then that's the boy's fault. Instead the master trained a man that gave up in the end." I remark at Majeh as my swings increase in speed and strength, using the moment to slash through the air.

OoC: Pretty sure Yukino and Caius fucked the area up pretty good.

Echo just smiled at Aisha and ate the sandwich silently.

"Well know that you have my support in it, no matter what it'll be." Bryce said, applying a final bit of pressure before pulling back. He smiled and rubbed his head, pulling up his hat to reveal some gray and red hair. "Now, you wanna go shopping? I'll buy."

<color=red>"There is always a time when we question our own past. Crying out loud doesn't mean you're week. We all must go there at some point. I know I had to do that yesterday with my own past."

@Dirty: Yukino and Caius screwed the front up even more than it was screwed up.

Rex buries his face into his hands at the mention of Yukino. [color=008888] "Reeeally wish I could forget about her. [small] I actually did until she followed me into this dimension... [/small] But yeah, I see what you mean." [/color] He quickly pulls his face out of his palm and raises his other hand toward his face, with his pointer finger extended. [color=008888] "But in defense of the decency of my species, I wouldn't consider her a human by any means. Back in my world, she's called a half-breed." [/color]

Yukino's ears twitch a bit as Majeh comes closer to her. [color=bb66bb] "Oh, yes! He did. He and I seem to be alike." [/color] She tilts her head a bit as she continues with a :3 face. [color=bb66bb] "Why?" [/color]

"I don't disagree. The boy was weak." Majeh says to Riven.
He looks at Yukino. "Be careful. There are those who would manipulate you. And something seemed off about that man. Like he was a walking dead or didn't have a soul."

Ooc: If memory serves, Mercer is a literal virus animating a dead man. So, it would make sense that Majeh would sense something off in him. Not necessarily know what that is though.

Yukino just gives Majeh a little wink. [color=bb66bb] "Indeed... he didn't have a soul I could sense either. Don't worry your pretty little head over me, Majeh. I'm a big girl, I can handle myself." [/color] The foxgirl takes an interested look toward Riven's practice, keeping her :3 smile on.
