Caius hmmp'd upon seeing the zombies emerge from the light. All that time preparing that spell, and this is all it does? Seeing Selion continue the spell, Caius deduced that she was either summoning more zombies, or keeping up the spell so that as soon one zombie was slain, another one would come to take its place. With this in mind, he began making his way towards Selion with a quick walk, firing three Graviton spheres at a zombie once it neared him. Picking up the pace, Caius leapt up, jumping right over Yukino and landing behind Selion. Spinning his sword around and holding it in a reverse grip, he thrusted it towards the her, his back still turned.

Yeul was sill hiding halfway to the exit.

@Dot. I might do it tomorrow, but I did not know that Rex had a demon in him. So, I'll have Reimu address him about it tomorrow.

One of the zombies noticed Echo, and working off of base instinct, chased after her. It chased her down the hall to the exit of the cathedral (which also happened to be the same way that Yeul ran off to), but couldn't do more than keep pace with her. The bandaging around its arm seemed to come alive, almost like a snake, then launched towards Echo's ankle, aiming to trip her up.

Cauis' Graviton attack utterly crippled the zombie they struck, crushing it to the point where it could no longer move.

Selion conjured up another shield glyph to stop Majeh's slash, while his fiery palm strike seemed to have no effect beyond just striking her. It knocked her back, causing her to be unable to guard from Caius' stab. She shrieked out in pain as black blood gushed from the point where she was struck. Pulling herself off his blade, she summoned up another glyph underneath her, which caused a large explosion of black fire to erupt from her body, threatening to burn and knock-away those who were close to her.

Group 1, go!

 

[Furioso]

Valvatorez managed to just lean back out of the range of the zombies claws before swinging his sword at its shoulders horizontally, aiming to separate the zombies head from the body, and the arms from the head and body.

Fenrich ducked and dashed behind the zombie with lightning speed. He then grabbed its legs and attempted to swing it into the ground.

I calmly sliced the the zombies lunging body coming at me, as I charge at another one with the second move of Broken Wings.

Aisha on the other hand, manifests beam-like projections on her Tear Drops as she rushes at closer to Selion and fires a 3-inch diameter beam punch at her.

As Aisha continues fighting a strange music starts playing over... I don't why.

With some of the walking corpses out of the way, the girls make their first attack at Selion.

Marisa raises her hands and uses her standard Meteoric Debris spell: a multitude of stereotypical looking stars that are like white hot shuriken. She fires it at Selion.

Reimu teleports into the air to perform her Demon Sealing Dimensional Rift spell: A barrage of energy spikes just the stuff to go against demons.

Yukino emerges from the pillar of flame laughing, while wielding her scythe. Her very nature is fiery, although the black flames did manage cause minor burns on her and also started burning her clothes. She cackles maniacally as she slashes straight through the pillar of black flames toward Selion, not caring about the additional burns she would incur. [color=bb66bb] "C'mon, you little shit! That CAN'T be the hottest your flames burn! GIVE ME MORE!" [/color]

Rex rushes at another at another zombie, swinging a charged fist downward, aiming to crush it where it stood.

 

[Drakmorg]

Valvatorez hacked clean through the zombie's upper body, rendering it unable to do much harm as all of its bits stopped trying to move.

Fenrich's massive strength allowed him to swing the zombie around like a ragdoll, pulverizing its bones as it struck the ground and rendering it unable to move.

Riven's strike hacked another zombie in half, this one trying the same thing as its predecessor did once it was only a top half. Perhaps this one was feeling lucky?
While that was happening, an unoccupied zombie crept up behind Riven and pounced at her, aiming to bite her in the shoulder.

Rex's punch did indeed crush the zombie he was after. Meanwhile, two more came at him from the sides. One sent its arm bandages after him like snakes, aiming to wrap him up and contrict his movement, while the other charged and tried to bite him.

Aisha, Reimu, and Marisa's magical attacks had no effect on Selion, seeming to dissipate before so much as even touching her. She conjured another shield glyph to block Yukino's strike, but it shattered as she struck it, causing Selion to be slashed anyway, another torrent of blood gushing out of her. She was getting quite annoyed with how useless her zombies seemed to be at holding the attention of her enemies. [color=Masked Woman]Such power these people have...I was far too hasty in engaging them.[/color] After she backed up from Yukino, A glyph formed at underneath Selion, causing pillars of black flame to erupt from the ground until she was completely obscured from view by them.

The remaining five unengaged zombies bum-rushed the pulpit, clawing at those who were attacking Selion

Echo was tripped up by the bandage, but was unharmed and managed to get back up before she was overtaken. She continued to run.

@Drak. If you read it carefully, both of them should be targeting Selion.

And yes she's making the attack. The attack is that she teleports and makes energy spikes.

Majeh was knocked back by Selion's attack, but used his sword as both a guard and to keep him from blowing back too far. HE was able to minimize the damage with his Chi shielding, still he was a little worse for the wear. "Annoying rat."

He stands. Looking at Selion's black flame. "That's how it is... Very well. To think I'll use such a technique on such trash. I hate being so weak..."

He closes his eyes for a moment. "I call upon..." Majeh open's his eyes. "Heaven's Arrows of Judgement." Dark energy begins emitting and rising from his body like smoke. It seemed to flows from his mouth. It poured from his every pour. Anyone who could sense a person strength would find that his had increased dramatically. Even more so than his Heaven's Slaughter technique.

Majeh sheathed his sword and held up both his hands. "Die."

OoC: Laaame! I rolled a 1! >_<

As he turned around, Caius was caught right on the middle of Selion's fire burst that emitted from her. His armour prevented him from being set ablaze for the most part, but some areas did catch fire. The severe heat from the flames also scalded him on several areas, mostly his face. Caught off-guard by the fire, one of the zombies took this oppertunity to bag itself a ready-cooked meal and pounced on Caius, throwing him against the wall, all the while gnawing and clawing at him.

Seeing Echo had lead one of the zombies towards the exit, her plan of remaining out of the battle, while staying within the walls of the cathedral was foiled. Left with little options, she began running towards the exit, moving as fast as one might expect from a 14-year old girl.

No, I should probably say that would level the area around Selion.

 

[Drakmorg]

The zombie near the exit managed to catch up with Echo a bit as she was tripped. While it didn't overtake her, it got close enough to try and lunge at her, maw open as it tried to catch her with its teeth.

Majeh's attack leveled most of what was behind Selion, which was the majority of the cathedral. Having lost most of what was keeping it up, the building began to collapse, large chunks of the roof falling and occasionally threatening to crush people. Selion's circle of flames flickered, like a candle flame that someone just barely failed to blow out completely. A second afterwards, an explosion erupted from within the circle of flames, scattering fire everywhere, which, while threatening to burn just about everyone in the room, also caught the pews ablaze, filling the room with a lingering blaze. After the conclusion of the series of explosions that left the cathedral in a very bad way, Selion was nowhere to be seen.

@Nailik: Would the zombie be biting actual flesh, or is it just nibbling on his armor a bit? Your choice. Does matter.

Sensing something behind me, I quickly turned and slashed at the zombie's midsection as its teeth blushing against my non-armored shoulder. (There is still clothing there) Then Majeh's blast and...

With the rumbling of the church, several large slabs of the ceiling land on Riven as she dived out of the way, but unfortunately was hit hard enough that she lost consciousness.

Aisha seeing that Riven had fallen, teleported over to her and said. "We are leaving now." Rushing out of the church at blinding speed, Aisha carried Riven outside and back to the inn.

Reimu opened up her sleeves to shoot down the incoming zombies coming at her.

"Reimu, let's get out of here. The lady disappeared and the place is on fire! Can you still sense her?"

Marisa used a levitation spell to toss one of the burning pews at the zombies.

OOC: On second thought, the building is both collapsing and on fire...don't really need groups anymore. Everyone just go as you please now. Oh, and uh...

Those with demon/soul/magic sense would find no sign of Selion anywhere nearby.
