[/color] The foxgirl moves one of her hands toward her neck as the choking feeling from a few days ago comes back. She shudders a bit before shaking it off.

When Echo bolted deeper into the building, Yeul at first wished to go after her, but stopped after taking a single step. Her posture was almost limp, and she gazed into the distance. Should anyone look, the might see the golden sigels in Yeul's eyes. After a while, she snapped out of her trance and shook her head. It is not my place to interfere here. For a moment, she softly rubbed her fore head, then sat back down on the couch.
"Another one?" Caius asked Yeul, a hint of worry in his voice. Yeul nodded in responce.

"well, in this places defense, the local leaders are complete arses. Most places where I'm from don't operate on that retarded principle, and if I can help it before I leave it'll operate on the idea of 'everyone gets the same laws, ya blighters, now stop whining and get to work being useful'. I wasn't very popular with the politicians where I'm from." Bryce said, before pulling out a small paperback and idly flipping through the pages.
Echo threw out a dazzling wall of sizzling, popping sparks of multicolored light as she fled down a dark hallway, not making a sound as she ran.
"Indeed." Nem said to Yukino. She was now standing next to her looking down the same hallway.

Shocked by Nem's sudden appearance, Yukino jumps back a bit. She tenses up a bit as she moves her hand toward her sword. [color=bb66bb] "...Shouldn't you be chasing after your niece, now?" [/color]

From what I am led to believe, saying such a thing to an Overlord, that is, the Overlords where I come from, would likely get one reduced to ash."

"An old friend of mine...she is a necromancer as it were..." Black said to Yukimaru. "For her, it's a matter of see and kill me....I on the other hand will not kill her....I wish to bring her back home..." She explained, she gave a small nod to Rex as he approached.

"What, you mean like Valvatorez? If he's a good scale, as long as I don't say it to there face, they'll easily believe that I didn't mean it. Also, how do you guys enforce laws? Unless everything is separated into fiefdoms the size of pantries, you guys must have a standing army of some sort. and the way he acts about them, you'd think armies were an act of evil worthy of death only." Bryce puts the paperback back in his duster.
Upon seeing Nemesis, Caius uncrossed his arms and pointed to her. "You. You are a fool if you believe that you can send a defenceless child on her own into a perilous place such as this, and assume she will remain unscathed. Acting after harm has befallen her is no better. It just makes you all the more the hypocrite. Do you want that child to remain safe? Either stand by her side, or get her out of here."

The sparks barely bothered Majeh, as he walked down the hallway, shielding his eyes, with his hand. He followed Echo's trail with nary with deviation.
Eventally, he caught up to her. He looked down upon her with a solemn expression.
"You were going to lie to me, parrot-girl. You shouldn't lie." He said with a dark inflection.
"You do fear me. You fear others as well..." He trailed off for a second, seeming to think of some distant memory.
"That is good. Fear is good. It will make you strong. I once knew a man who was very strong. He was very level headed. Whatever the situation, he was never afraid."
Majeh paused for a minute. "But you know what? When he was a child, he had a reputation for being a coward. But he was determined to change that. Gradually, one by one, he overcame all the things that he feared. Even when he was so afraid that the tears flowed. So afraid that he peed his trousers... He never closed his eyes."
He turns to walk away. "And when there was no other fear to overcome... His eyes were looking down on the whole universe."
Majeh starts to walk off. "When you're ready come back. No harm will befall you. I won't allow it. Even if I have to kill those who would with my own hands."

Murder, thievery and other such things are only illegal so that the laws can be broken. Depending on who the planet's Overlord is, varying degrees of order tend to come about for each planet."

Black shrugged at Rex. "A risk I'm willing to take....for even if I don't save her....at least Ill die knowing she would be happy...." She replied casually. "I'm going to save her....nothing more....she has been through quite enough thanks to me....she doesn't deserve more punishment...." She replied to Yukimaru.

Bryce looked at Roz, and gaped. "You... You sure you want to go back to that? That sounds frickin' terrible." Bryce rubs his wrists, and looks down. "I mean, I don't know where you would stay, but honestly, going to a planet like that worries me. I mean, how do you trust a person when killing people is encouraged? You either go stupid as hell like Valvatorez and make it your life's rule to not even look at the idea of stealth, or you're the guy who loves it and stabs guys in the back for shits and giggles. Believe me, I saw that state of society back home and spent 25 years digging it out of the dirt, while it kicked and whined that it liked feeling nasty."
