Rozalin had finally managed to find what she was looking for in her dress. She drew a small, ornately decorated pistol and pointed it at the worm that was still charging at the group. So from what I've read, all I have to do is point this at an enemy, then pull the 'trigger'. Which part is that aga- Her thoughts were cut off as she squeezed the trigger and fired off a bullet comprised of energy at the worm. Despite it's size, the gun produced considerable kick-back and nearly caused Royce to fall over as he wasn't expecting the force. "Erm, sorry."
"Right....just hold on Kiddo...." She said to Rex, then turned to Lld. "Were....running away from those things.....everyone seems to be following that one so I'm doing the same" She replied, pointing to Eve, black was confused about the flying but had other problems to deal with first, her arm cannon appeared and she let fly a massive bolt blast at the worm.
"What makes you think I have the answers?" Jensen replied to Tarkus. "This place is a desert. It'll stretch for hundreds of miles. For all we know it could cover the entire globe. I guess we should try and find water, and food. If we can't find any, or if there isn't any, then we'll all die." He looked back to Bullet.
"Maybe we should walk while we talk. So, this device is basically a dispersal device for some chemical? One that can be mounted to standard weapons?"

Bullet nodded again as she started to walk. "A chemical?... I dunno know, I guess. And yeah, its pretty much that. Starts absorbing all that seithr toxic around the Earth and puts it to good use besides leaving the Earth a barren wasteland."
She paused for a moment. "By technicality, my gauntlets shouldn't even be working with the lack of seithr here... Strange."

When it was clear this poor sod was either severly disliked or easily overlooked Corvo picked Jack up and slung him over his shoulder and began running towards where the worms had been fought off, hopefully someone would take this man off his hands.

Black's shots connected with the worms head, further damaging it's thick hide and causing it to open it's maw to roar. As it roared the bomb that Balthier threw entered it's mouth and got caught in the swords that Sable had plunged in it's skin. The electrified swords increased the power of the bomb but it was the combined shots of Rex and Rozalin that set it off causing a large explosion which separated the worm's head from it's body and sent it flying forward. The further attacks by Black and lld only served to damage the twitching carcass.
Eve heard the explosion as she reached the top of the large dune and was about to turn and see what had happened when stepped over the dune's lip and fell a rather long distance. "243!" She quickly ended up stuck upside down in the sand with her helmet, which had fallen off as she was falling, next to her.

Derpy wanders over to Corvo "Hi there! Was that your ship or his? It was still neat though. Too bad it crashed. My name's Derpy Hooves, what's yours? Do you want a muffin?"

Corvo blinked forward, stopping before Adam. "Take him." He said, lying Jack on the floor. "Not my problem now." He straightened back up.
He turned his masked face to the Pegasus. "An apparition of the Outsider." The mark on his hand began to glow. "Speak of the devil." He said and whirled away. Stopping time briefly before using blink to get away.
To those watching him he simply vanished.

Yes and no. Yes there is a sandworm...or at least there was. But most people are on foot right now. Black and Rex are on a motorcycle though. Handsome Jack had a ship, but then Nile blew it up.Saltyk said:

Royce saw Eve fall over the edge of the sand dune and stopped before the same thing happened to him and Rozalin. Rozalin informed Royce that the last worm was dead, so he gently set her down back on her feet. She let Royce go off as she started looking for a less steep way down from the dune towards where Eve had fallen.
