Eve coughed up a bunch of sand as Ryu helped her out. "*cough* Generally, when someone gets stuck upside down any where *cough, cough* the situation is usually considered to be never okay. *cough* But thanks for the help." She stood up and brushed herself down before reaching for her helmet. "Well at least one good thing came from falling down. Look what we've found." she stated as she pointed towards the centre of the dune basin.

A rather large town could be clearly seen in the distance, hidden at the bottom of the dune basin.

 

[Random berk]

"A curse and a blesing... yeah. I get that." Jensen said contemplatively, before glancing up.
"We haven't gone all that far. Besides, we can still try and get sustenance from those worms. But now that you mention it, I do kind of wish I had compass bearings or waypoints on my HUD."

 

[Wackymon]

The man in the duster (Still confused by the fact he had a hat on) walks up to... Eve, and just looks over her.
"Okay, any idea where I am?" he says.

 

[Saltyk]

Ryu looks on towards the town. "Finally some sanctuary." Just like with Oasis.
He begins walking towards the city. "Well, let's go."

"Yeah....your welcome...." She said to Rex, then looked over at the town in the distance. "I suppose are next point of travel is there then..." her question was answered Ryu, she shrugged and put her hands in her pockets then followed.

 

[Chungus]

After shaking the sand out of his sandles and putting them back on, Balthier looked around and saw the town Eve spoke of earlier in the distance. "Civilisation at last." He said to himself, then walked over to Eve. "So that's the place, I take it?"

Bullet tilted her head, then shook. Squinting she said. "Hey... Is that a town!? Maybe we could get some actual food over there!"

 

[Sablestick]

"I'm sorry Tarkus. I am also to never die, but I do not have a curse upon me. I am already dead." Sable lifts his helmet to reveal nothing inside the armor "I will help you deal with these 'Hollow' creatures once this journey is at it's end. Until then, may we find strength in our bond as knights, and hope to see our homelands in a better state pon our return. Now come, tell me what you know of magic."

 

[FPSfanatic]

Bryce managed to pull himself over another dune, and finally caught site of the group. "Remind me not to leave for mapping next time!" He calls out, waving at those he can see. He slid down the dune, before faceplanting at the end of it, flying over an unexpected ridge.

"Is that a small pony with wings going around talking to people" Daniel said looking at Derpy. Ild walked by "I do believe so"

Rex stretches out a bit and nods to Black. [color=008888] "Yep... Let's get going then. I'll be fine walking from here." [/color] Rex limps a bit as he advances toward the city walls.

"I told you it was nearby didn't I?" She teased Balthier before sticking out her tongue at him and replacing it with a smile. Eve then held her helmet by her side as she set off after Ryu who had already began walking for the city.

 

[Random berk]

Jensen retracted his shades and covered his brow with one hand. Hidden in the shade of the dune, he could just make out the town.
"Yeah, it looks like it. Perfect. Can't say I was looking forward to trying out alien bush food."He grabbed Jack by the collar and began dragging him across the sand, causing his clothes to fetch up small piles of the sediment. Jensen's lip curled slightly as he walked.
"Lets go then."

"Beer and food, here I come!" Bullet jumped up slightly and set off towards the city following Rex and Eve.

"So Eve. What can you tell us about this town? Anything we should know?" Ryu asked as they walked.

Rozalin simply continued to look at Derpy with a perplexed expression, as she spoke too quickly for Rozalin to catch most of what was said. All she could even remember were Derpy's name and the last two questions. "Erm, oh! I am Princess Rozalin, daughter of Overlord Zenon." She said to the wall-eyed pony in introduction. Her stomach grumbled as she realized that she had yet to eat anything since she had first shown up in the desert. "And yes, I believe something to eat would be lovely."

She started looking around again and noticed that they had made it to the town. She sighed with relief, remembering that Eve had said the giant sandworms avoided the place for some reason. She chuckled slightly at Bryce face-planting in the sand, then simply moved to follow after everyone moving into the town.

@Outis: The entire fight. That's about it. I left Royce just kinda following everyone.

As Jensen passed Bryce, still hauling Jack by the collar, he reached out, caught him under the arm and pulled him to his feet.
"Bryce, right? Hey, I never got to thank you, for what you did last night. Carrying Fa... Malik back, I mean. You didn't have to do that."

OOC: Last Post...huh. I noticed that doesn't happen very often for me.

"No, you mentioned a string of numbers that hold no significance for anyone but you." Balthier dryly replied as he began following those that were walking towards the town. I do hope I can get a warm meal there. A bath would be welcome too.
