"Apparently not." Rozalin said in reply to Black. "Apparently this disheveled looking one blames King Edgar for everything that happened last night. How utterly foolish." When she actually looked over at Black, she noticed that she had a cup of tea. "Where did you get that? And do you perhaps have any more?"

"oh, don't think I put the full blame on you. There were much worse people in that fight. The Overseer, his bodyguard, the merc you mentioned. [sub]me.[/sub]" and then he looked into Edgar's eyes. "but how many defenseless children died, that could be saved? How many people, hiding in their homes while it burned around them? Could you have saved Eve?" Bryce pulls his gaze from Edgar, and looks at the ground. "best start putting the excuses you'll whisper tonight together, so you can sleep. I know I will." he then submits himself to the guards, ready to go wherever they dragged him.

"Typical....make the blame to others...." Black commented on the situation, then looked at Rozalin. "You mean this Tea? I have some in a pot over there If you'd like a cup of it...." She said to Rozalin, pointing to the place Black was just sitting.

Rex simply sighs as he walks in to see Bryce tied up by Edgar's troops. [color=008888] Does he always get into trouble like this?[/color]
He leans back and watches from the gates.

seeing Bryce surrender, Balthier lowered his rifle and flung it over his shoulder once more. Bah. Waste of time. There seems to be a lot of that lately.

 

[Slenn]

Aye aye aye... what's with this guy?
"The first place you're going is the hallway where everyone can see you. I want to know where you're from, who sent you if anyone, and if anyone can recognize you. And lastly, who this Eve person is."

The guards moved Bryce into the hallway on the first floor. Edgar called out on the intercom for anyone who would recognize Bryce.

 

[Chungus]

"I recognize the man." Balhier remarked as he walked over to Edgar. "He came here three days ago, I believe. Accompanied by two blue-haired men. Prior to this, I saw him along with several others when we first came to this realm."

 

[Furioso]

Valvatorez shook Bullet's hand "Good for you, breaking a promise would only lead to true pain." he said, a distant look in his eyes, before dispersing into a cloud of bats and flying to the roof of the castle. Fenrich jumped up to him in 2 quick leaps

"Indeed. It was in no way King Edgar's fight. Why should he be insulted and attacked for placing his own people before strangers?" Rozalin continued to muse aloud on the subject of the dispute between Edgar and Bryce. "And I believe that I shall take you up on that offer." She added as she walked off to where Black was pointing and had Black pour her a cup of tea. She sighed and sipped from her cup, feeling slightly better as it reminded her of less violent times.

Bullet smiled then sighed, as she sat down outside.

"Who were these blue haired men?" He asked both Bryce and Balthier.

"dunno. Outworlders who'd shown up in market. I knew you were letting outworlders in, so I took them here. That took me out of town when the attack came."

 

[Chungus]

"I never got their names. And before you ask, I don't know where they are now either. I haven't seen them since the day they arived. Perhaps they have already left." Balthier replied.

 

[Slenn]

"So then, who is this Eve? I heard from Ryu, after my arrival, that the town's leader was abducted to a floating city. Hence why we're building the airship to find this person. Is this Eve the same person? Or is she someone else?"

 

[FPSfanatic]

"she is... Was our guide. She was gonna lead the team to find the mayor from the town. I uh. I had feelings for her, and had expressed interest in her the night before, right before I slept. I didn't get to see her after that."

 

[Chungus]

So unrequited love, is it? His actions make a lot more sense now. Though it remains foolish to blame others for what transpired. Balthier thought upon hearing Bryce, crossing his arms. Looking back at Edgar, Balthier said, "If we could speak later? I have something I wish to discuss with you."

 

[Slenn]

Edgar ordered on his radio for a doctor to come patch up Bryce from the autocrossbow shots.

A doctor came in promptly from below and started doing his work.
"This situation is becoming more complicated than I remember from yesterday."

"I'll help you find Eve, if you promise to stop blaming others for her disappearance."
