"I suggest taking off tomorow. I would rather not try and navigate this desert at night." Balthier said to Edgar as he stood in the elevator, waiting for Rex to join. "Plus, it would be wise to stock up on as much provisions as posible. I have a feeling we will likely not return here for a while."

 

[Saltyk]

Ryu walks up to Edgar. "Let's see what she can do. I want to see if this thing can actually fly."

 

[DotSlash]

Rex walks into the elevator and lets out a yawn. [color=008888] "Yeah, let's do just that. The group could use a little break after all that happened the last few days." [/color]

 

[Slenn]

"Hold on Ryu... what was that noise? It certainly didn't sound natural."

A beeping noise came from Edgar's radio. He flipped it out.
"Go ahead scout."

"There's a giant.... robot? Outside. It's weird. You need to see this."

"Excuse me Ryu."
Edgar rushed his way outside of the airship to check out what the scout was reporting.

"What the plooper-ficktel is THAT THING!?" He said, pointing at the mech.

"Why should I? It's not like we have anything to talk about." Royce said with a tiny bit of bitterness as he started unloading the gun and reloading it to make sure everything worked properly.

 

[Saltyk]

Ryu follows Edgar. "Another enemy obviously. I say we kill it before it attacks."

 

[Chungus]

"There is that too." Balthier said to Rex. Upon hearing the transmision comming from Edgar's radio, Balthier followed him, albeit with a whole lot less haste.

 

[Drakmorg]

Rozalin was wholly focused on flying, so she had managed to avoid the obstacle that Bryce had smacked into. Hearing him get cut off, she looked back to see that he had hit the sand and appeared to be unconscious. She sighed and gently fluttered back to the ground. I should make sure the fool hasn't injured himself... "Erm...Help." She called out. Hearing Edgar shout caused her to look up and see the robot with what was clearly a weapon. "Whatever it is, I think it intends to try and kill us. It must be with those ruffians from last night." She said as she fished her gun out from her bag.

The mech noticed Edgar rushing outside as it started to descend as the rifle dematerialized to nothing.

Hmm... Humans. Other normal humans. I guess Charlotte's hope for animal hybrid is dashed then.

Bullet shrugged. "Fair enough. I just thought you were a bit more social that's all."

 

[DotSlash]

Rex yawned yet again as he sluggishly followed Balthier and Edgar. [color=008888] "Probably won't end up being that bad. You guys tend to overreact to a lot. Plus, a busted mech = more replacement parts." [/color]

 

[Outisakanobody]

"I would be, but there aren't many people around here worth being social with." Royce replied coolly...or as coolly as he could manage.

 

[Saltyk]

Ryu reaches for his sword and looks back to Rex. "You want to take that chance, merely a day after the city was attacked by similar foes?"

 

[Slenn]

"We do not wish to fight you. However we do have armaments on us and combatants ready. Please show your face as a sign of peace, that is if you are human inside that suit."

 

[Chungus]

Balthier exited the airship where he saw the mech a short distance away. [sub]"Is that a Rook?"[/sub] He muttered to himself as he moved his hand to his rifle, just in case. "That's a way to look at it..." He said to Rex.

"My, my. Hostile already? I barely looked around and I get a rather brutish welcoming. Sure I raised my weapon, but now its gone." The mech replied in a female tone. "Hmmm... Tell me, are you the owner of this ship? Its of a rather... Interesting design." it said to Edgar, definitely evading the question.

Rex shrugs as Ryu looks at him. [color=008888] "If I could handle one without much trouble, the entire group would decimate it three times over." [/color] He looks up as the mech's rifle vanishes then turns back to Ryu. [color=008888] "It's a friendly or at least not going to attack us , calm yourselves down." [/color] He casually waves at the mech. [color=008888] "Yo! What's your name, miss?" [/color]

 

[Outisakanobody]

"Yeah, well, go...go practice with someone else." Royce said as he got up and walked away from Bullet.

 

[Saltyk]

"Don't give me that. Answer the question or I will kill you where you stand. We've already been attacked by your kind. And I will not allow you to do more. So..." Ryu draws his blade. "Stand down, leave, or die. Your choice."
"And it is obviously not friendly. Or it wouldn't come here with such blatant arms and intents to fight. Most likely it doesn't know what it is up against."

 

[Chungus]

"It's a policy of mine not to trust a person who hides behind toys." Balthier said to the mech, though he still hadn't drawn his rifle.

 

[Slenn]

"The fact of the matter is, this holding has been attacked, twice in the past two days, by surprise because we were minding our own business. We have a right to not be too sure here. You come here all out of nowhere when our minds are all on edge from the previous events. And yes, this is my ship. It's designed by me and Balthier over here."
