"Hm." Ratsel smiled at Royce. Then looked around. "Desert. Nothing by desert. I wonder if there is anything beyond desert on this world."

Bullet nodded at the scars. "Well... It was dumb luck I guess. Somehow I got healed when I was asleep."

"I hope so..." Royce said to Rat.

"My guess is that you have Ryu to thank for that. As far as I know, he's the only one amongst us capable of casting healing magick." Balthier said to Bullet, hearing her mention her wounds being healed. Turning back to Adam, Balthier looked at the armour he was wearing before saying, "Do you have weapons that are effective against the kind of armour you are wearing?"

"The work of one of the others brought to this world, I'd bet." Jensen replied to Bullet. "At least we're in good company to get this done."

Black walked around carefully checking every corner she passed, she put her hood seeing as she was indoors now. "What is this place?" She thought aloud.

"Hmm... How long have you people been here? Its obvious that you people are not of this place."

"Perhaps, I haven't a clue." Bullet shrugged at Balthier. She smiled at Jensen. "Yeah... Good company..." she said in a half-awake muse. She remember the mercenary group. Her family. Certainly time was hard, but everybody was working with everybody. If one failed, they all failed.

Jensen noticed Bullet's wistful expression again, and was about to inquire further when he heard Balthier addressing him. He glanced briefly down at his body armour, then back up.
"Yeah, heavy weapons will tear right through it. It isn't tank armour, just a rigid flak vest really. It'll stop things like knives and small arms fire, that's about it. Why?"

"Oh, right. Corporal Royce Maine." Royce said, rubbing his hands together.

"The enemy has armour similar to it. I shot the person I assume is their leader in the chest, yet it did narry a thing." Balthier answered. "Wich I find odd, given the fact that the bullets normally pierce armour."

 

[Random berk]

"I've dealt with enough armoured targets. Its all about precision." Jensen replied. "If I can get close to them, I'll take them down, one way or another." He looked around, half expecting a chorus of agreements, but Royce and Ratsel seemed to have completely tuned out, and Bullet was still looking distant.
"You ok, Bullet?" He asked.

Black continued to walk around until she eventually came across the others. "I take it this is the airship people have been talking about?" She asked Balthier.

"Ah, a Corporal. Either way, a pleasure to meet you." Ratsel smiled, as she materialized her Graviton Rifle as she continued to inspect it. "Hmmm... Scopes off alittle." She curtly nodded at Jensen.

Bullet snapped out of her gaze when Adam started talking to her. "I... Was just remembering stuff. That's all." she said, trying to reflect the question.

"Oh, my aim is never off." Balthier said to Adam before pushing away from the railing he was leaning against and walking over to Black. "It is. Do you find it to your liking?"

"...Where did you get that?" Royce asked Rat.

Black nodded. "yes....It's quite impressive....very nice work indeed..." She said to Balthier. "and now we have height advance against any hostiles.....I take it this ship has weapons?" She inquired.

"I don't doubt it. Still, lets take a look at the armour when we search the bodies, and we can pick out its weak points. That'll give us an edge." Jensen said to the group at large, before returning his attention to Bullet.
"Yeah, I know. I was a cop you know, and even to someone without an inbuilt neural scanning module, you don't hide it much."

OOC: I just have to go and grab some food. Back in a few minutes.

"It does. The weapons systems were one of the few things I didn't alter. The Emily is equiped with missile launchers, laser cannons and tesla coils." Balthier answered.
