Black gave a small sigh. "It's technical not a curse....It's a contract...[sub]Although I see it as a curse more then anything else...[/sub]" She said to Ratsel, then rested her hands in her pockets.

"When someone enters the Hazama they can have one wish.....a person can wish for the world's greatest wishes and it will be waiting for them when they return to there world....but to receive the result of a wish you have to give something up....of equal exchange.....that person will have the riches but might lose an arm or something.....sometimes it's not giving something up....instead you have to go through certain trails.....these can be anything from receiving an object.....to killing someone else in the Hazama........but that's just the type of place the Hazama is...an unforgiving place between the Heavens and Hell...." She explained to Ratsel, then gave another bitter sigh.

"Right..." was Balthier's only responce. He drew his rifle and entered the ship, looking for the duo responsible for the crash. Wherther they are Overlords or not, they are about to find out why it's ill-advised to mess with the ship of a Sky Pirate.

"Why exactly do they have to be sewed into something. Couldn't they just be disciplined as non-corporeal beings"

Black was quiet for a short while. "I wished.....to get my friends back.....to take them from the Hazama....and return them home......" She to Ratsel, clenching her fist. "Unfortunately....it's never as simple as that....."

Valvatorez laughed "Of course not, without being sewn into a Prinny body they retain most of their former selves and become unruly."

Fenrich frowned "Those kinds of Prinny's are excruciatingly difficult to deal with."

"And so you less or more cursed yourself to this 'Hazama'... Just to free those already trapped in it. It's admirable that you had done such a selfless thing. But in the end, who will save you? It seems by itself a trap. With less or more no escape out." Ratsel said, though the last part of her sentence seemed about strained, as she remembered the L3 Colony Incident. I can never forgive myself for doing that... That's why I took the name 'Ratsel Feinschmecker.'

@Hatchy: You do realize that 'hazama' means 'gap' in Japanese right?

@Hatchy: Even Hazama's Seiyuu made the joke about Hazama's name meaning 'gap' from one of the Blazblue Radio specials.

"Life is never easy. I know that from experiment from being on the losing side of a war and other things as well." Ratsel said, looking away. If Black was observant, she would see through the tinted orange color of Ratsel sunglasses, revealing two haggard-looking blue eyes. Determined, powerful and cunning, but sad nevertheless.

OoC: Cecilia Ratsel is roughly 30 or so years old, as is the rest of the IS pilots.

Rozalin was sitting on what was left of her bed in what was left of the sleeping quarters of the airship Edgar and Balthier had co-built. She was staring at a rather large black stain on the wall that was the result of her bleeding on it after getting wounded in the incidents that had wrecked the ship. Then she looked down at her horribly blood-stained dress and frowned. And to think that I might have been made a hypocrite so incredibly soon. It is almost poetic, the speed in which the universe made me require the aid of that blue-haired man after saying I wouldn't need it...I can only hope that it was my servant who saved me so I can at least save some modicum of face among these people. She got up from her bed and started wandering about, looking for either Ryu or Royce.

OOC: And I'm back officially. Here's hoping @Salty is still paying attention to the thread at least...

Black closed her eyes for a moment and sighed a little, she re-opened them and looked up at Ratsel. "You've experienced war?" Black asked Ratsel, noticing she wasn't the happist person alive.
