Balthier scickered. "I can see that happening. You get injured, yet refuse to give up and they have to drag you off with you kicking and screaming. Am I correct?"

Bryce looked over at Zachariah. "It's like being a racist and meeting a black for the first time, and having to revise your opinion about him every time you see him. "Exactly. Yeah..." Bullet said, looking off in the distance. "Life was whole lot simpler too."

"Because everyone knew their role and acted accordingly while looking out for eachother?" Balthier asked, looking at Bullet with his head tilted slightly to the right. "Or is there more to it?" Out of the corner of his eye, Balthier noticed the Atomic Knights throwing food at their giant dogs, but paid it little mind save for thinking they were an odd bunch.

"Well that... And we kinda knew where we were." Bullet said, giggling slightly at the end, but then frowned at her own giggles.

Ratsel gave a cocked eyebrow at the Atomic Knights.

The woman in the group looked at Ratsel "What it's pretty fun. Sometimes they grab the same piece of meat while in the air. It's hilarious"

"Yes. That does tend to make matters simpler." Balthier answer, turning his gaze to the sky. "You have a pleasant laugh."

"huh. Well, whenever you wanna talk about it." he then turned over and fell right asleep. Bryce chuckled and fell asleep as well.

"After The Great Disaster there was very little animal life left so there's no horses so we have to use these beasts as mounts"

Balthier frowned, finding Bullet's complaint strange, though his gaze remained on the passing clouds. "Oh? Why do you think that? It's hardly odd that a woman should have a feminine laugh."

"... Right then. And what exactly was this 'Great Disaster'?" Ratsel asked.

"I just... Don't like my laugh. Having a 'girly' laugh kinda got me picked on by the younger guys in the group." Bullet admitted, shrugging. "Being the only girl in the group was... interesting to say the least. I guess that I kinda just... I dunno what's the correct term, adapted? Yeah, lets go with that, adapted with their views."

"I was younger, and didn't really know much. I just kinda wanted to fit in... Only after sometime did I start to rebel." Bullet giggled. Rebel... It's a strange word.

"I see. I can relate to that." Balthier replied, looking back to Bullet and rubbing his neck, wich had become rather stiff after the time he looked up. He sighed slightly before continuing. "Having been born in a house of nobles, I can assure you, you haven't missed a thing growing up with a band of mercenaries. All the rules... The pointless code of conduct. I loathed it."
