The bomb, that Balthier rolled along the floor, detonated and the explosion reached the Pyro's malfunctioning flamethrower causing it to explode and sending both the Pyro and Heavy flying backwards into the wall behind them and a large plume of flame down the corridor towards the access hatch. Unfortunately since the sniper was behind the Pyro when the explosion occurred he was crushed against the wall they smashed into. The Pyro and Heavy, who had become unchained due to the explosion, ripped themselves from the wall. The Pyro ran off down the left side of the corridor that the two heavily armoured assailants had been standing in due to being unarmed whilst the Heavy Infantry Man raised his gun again and continued to fire down the corridor at the group.

At that moment, the Heavy Metal footsteps arrived at the exit to the corridor as an Elite with a slightly different armour appeared carrying one large blade rather than two small katanas. The Elite then raised it's blade in a point charge and charged at Tarkus who was coming closer.

Group One GO!

OOC: @Salty: Yea I think I can fit you in Group One.

Black tried to shield herself from the flames but her jacket caught a blaze, as it burn the back of her skin she threw it out as quickly as she could. She then Took a weak shot at the Heavy infantry man, as she slowly backed away and tried to ignore the pain.

"Ryu, I just want to tell you that I am sorry. For everything that happened at Angel Tower. I only wanted to confirm a suspicion that I had had for so long."
"What suspicion is that, Garr?"
"That the Brood never truly fought us during the War. I wonder what would have happened if they had. Would it be my own people that the world digs up for Chrysm?"
"This all happened long before I was born... You're the only one who has told me anything of my people."
"I know... And yet, I now realize that I know so little of the Brood. I think I was afraid to know more of them. And having fought you, I now know that if the Brood had truly fought in the War, we couldn't have won. And I know not why they stayed their hands. Why they didn't use the power that they possessed."
There's an explosion!
"We should be able to get through now." Garr says as the dust clears.
A sudden chill takes to the air.
What do you think you're doing, 'Guardian'?
............. Ryu.
"Wha... What is this?"
"How do you know Ryu's name?"
I am the one who awakened Ryu. I woke him from his long slumber.
"You mean back in the mines? These mines? Back when... That was your voice?"
Yes, you did excellent that day. You killed so many of those fools picking at our people's bodies. Desecrating their memories!
"No... They attacked me. I only fought in self defense. That wasn't your voice, I heard, was it? The one that told me to stop..."
Ignore that traitor's words. They only serve to facilitate our enemies.
Ryu, Why do you let him live? Why do you let our enemy live!?
"You're a... dragon..?"
Before Ryu and Garr's very eyes a pool of blood appears.
"What is this?"
Can you hear it, 'Guardian'? Can you hear our spilt blood crying out for vengeance?
On top of the pool of blood a dragon appears, but this is no ordinary dragon. It has no flesh or blood to speak of. It is a dragon made of bone.

"'Guardian'... It's been what? 400 years? You, who tried to exterminate us, where are you taking Ryu?"
"I... I'm taking Ryu to meet our God."
At this declaration, Ryu can't help but look at Garr. "What? What did you say?"
"Why? To make a sacrificial offering out of the last dragon?"
"To learn the truth. To learn if the war we fought 400 years ago was right."
The Bone Dragon laughed. "Ryu, kill him! Avenge our people's memories! They destroyed us the Guardians killed us all."
"I refuse. I will not be your weapon of vengeance. Your sword to kill those you despise. I refuse to believe that is all our power is for!"
"Do you not hate him? Do you not despise him?"
You must not hate...
"Silence! You have no right!"
"What... What is going on?"
"I'll kill the Guardian myself! Then you will understand!" The Dragon said as it began to radiate Dark energy.

[hr]

Ryu wakes up. "Another dream..." He says standing up. Suddenly the scent of blood reaches his nostrils.
"Has the enemy finally moved?" He sees the pair of demons, Valvatores and Fennrich, and makes his way to them.
"Is he okay?" He asks preparing a healing spell not certain that it will work.

Bryce fired the revolver at the newly unarmored HWG, aiming for his skull.
"I don't know bud, his skull's all beat up. Pull him in the warhammer, I've got some medical equipment."

 

[TilMorrow]

The shot that Black took at the Heavy Infantry Man simply ricocheted off his armour and into the floor of the corridor. Bryce's shot smacked into the left side of the Heavy's visor blinding his left eye. The Heavy roared as he began firing in Bryce's direction.

The Elite that charged at Tarkus was speared on his lowered blade however all that came from the wound was steam. The Elite pulled himself up the blade as he raised his own with his other hand and brought it down on Tarkus' arm holding the his sword.

Group 2 Go!

Rex slides in behind the group and sees the Elite swinging its sword. He swings his gun up and launches a demonic fireball toward the Elite's face. As the shot travels, a little bit of blood drips out of Rex's mouth.

 

[Furioso]

Fenrich looked back and forth between Zacharia and Ryu Damn, it'd be too suspicious to refuse at this point... he thought
"N-no he's not ok... please heal him." he said to Ryu

 

[Chungus]

Balthier moaned and grabbed his left arm, wich began hurting just as bad as when he was shot there. His new-found healing abilities had kicked in and started pushing the bullet out of his arm. Balthier bit down on his lip when a gush of blood squirted out of the bullet wound when it was finnally forced out. He sighed in relief when the pain faded and saw his flesh knitting together before his very eyes. Taking his mind off it and focusing on the task, Balthier drew his rifle and peeked around the corner. He saw the Heavy wildly fire and resolved that he should be taken out next. Dropping to one knee to maximize stability, Balthier looked down the sights and fired at the heavy, aiming where his armour looked the weakest, the throat.

OOC: Uh, hey guys. What's up? Any chance I could get in on all this plot-fight?

OOC: @Drak: Yesh You're in group two... which has just gone. Take a turn with group one for now and then another turn when group two comes around again.

Rex's fireball takes the head off the Elite however it continues to slash it's sword down onto Tarkus' sword arm as steam and smoke vent from it's recently opened neck.

Balthier's bullet connected with the Heavy's throat and a hand shot to it as he started gurgling. His other arm continued firing the gun in one final arc before the Heavy crashed onto it's back, dead, causing the floor to shake violently.

Good night all!

With several bullet scars, burn marks and cuts all over her body, black backed off and jumped out the hatch with the last of her strength. She hobbled back to the Warhammer, she tripped up half way and dragged herself to a wall to recover, where she fell unconscious.

 

[Saltyk]

"The injury looks bad... But I think I maybe able to help..." Ryu holds up his right hand as a orb of green light forms in the palm. It seems to shimmer as the energy flows like water giving off what almost seems like steam.
"This will undoubtedly take my most powerful healing magics..."
Hopefully it is enough to heal such a creature as this.
He slowly moves his hand over Valvatores body as the orb slowly dissipates and a green aura appears and washes over his body like a gentle breeze or shallow stream.
Ryu waits for a moment. "I don't know if that will be enough, but it is all I can do with a single casting. if it doesn't bring him back from the brink, I doubt anything will."
He stands and unsheathes his sword as he begins to walk towards the hatch. "Now, excuse me. I have to deal with our foes."
The sword ignites in a gentle yet brilliant flame, as he disappears within.

Bryce choked as he took a bullet in the throat, and fell to the ground. ow. Shit. Okay, you need a break, and I need to let loose. Stand by. Bryce's skin popped as it was pulled into his body and bone armor rose in place. His left arm formed a spear, his right a shield. He stoid, roared, and charged the Elite, spear jabbing out.

Zach clapped. "I was going to give him blood transfusions, but that works fine. Lets get in there! he grabs the rocket out of the Warhammer and chases after Bryce.

Rozalin suddenly awoke on the Warhammer, having been sleeping rather fitfully on it all day. "Accursed dreams..." She mumbled to herself as she stood up and sleepily stretched. She saw Black come back and drag herself into the Warhammer, looking rather beaten up. "Shoot! Have we decided to make our move? I almost slept through it." She saw Ryu and intended to let him know about Black's state, but then he hopped down the access hatch. She sighed and followed after him, drawing her pistol as she climbed down the hatch as well.

@Nile: Fair enough, seeing that Hatchy took his turn already, I'll jump in the next time for Group 1 but first.

Bullet wakes up at the sounds of battle as does Ratsel. The two run outside the Warhammer and Bullet follows the sounds but Ratsel sees Black collapsed on the ground as she deploys her IS, picks her us and sets her inside the ship before hurrying towards the battle sounds.

OoC @Rosh: Would Ratsel's armour would even fit inside the carrier's corridors.
