"overturned a corrupt government with extreme prejudice. We were in the NOR, new Oregon Republic, and their senators and president declare themselves monarchs. Bryce didn't like that, so he deployed the 501st to kill of the new monarchy. The people cheer us on, and we have our group become a dual combat unit and corruption investigation team. At that point, the NOR had been paying us to be their army, so we just cut red tape out. I actually got elected president because of my role in the senate battle." he sniffs at his runny nose and starts eating.

Bryce says to Rozalin "I'll get reinforcements, you help hold the line!" he then heads farther down, into the bowels of the ship.

"Hold the line? What does that even mean? I don't even know what he expects me to do." Rozalin grumbled to herself as Bryce ran off. She approached the ladder to the deck and considered going up to see what the situation was.

[color=01B7FF]Hmm...I don't think they've tried to poison me.[/color] Yukimaru went back to trying to keep her eyes and ears on those around her in the mess hall. She didn't eat any more of the food Ratsel had given her, as she still wasn't entirely certain that Ratsel wasn't trying to kill her. [color=01B7FF]I can't keep going like this, I need to do something to earn their trust...zam.[/color]

"Yeah I think that would be a good idea, just to keep on the safe side of things." Eve said in response to Rozalin before gently grabbing her arm and tugging her up. Eve then continued after Bryce.

Darwin looked at the bleeding Royce before sighing and speaking in a low, gravely and old voice. "I did not think that ye looked like a fighter." he said as he pulled his backpack from his shoulders and rested his rifle on the ground. Darwin began rummaging inside as he continued talking not caring whether Royce could hear him or not. "You may try and show off the demeanor of the warrior, one that leads a fight but ye aren't built or trained that way." He retrieves a large phial containing red liquid and inspects it before approaching the downed Royce. Darwin uncorks the phial and forces it's neck between the man's lips as the liquid gurgles down his throat before stopping with a little left in the bottom of the vial. He crouched over and looked down at Royce. "That should fully heal your wounds but let me give you some advice lad. You're obviously a supporter but don't seem to want to accept the idea. Be true to what you are and you'll grown in strength. Trust me if you ever want to truly face off against Charles then you'll have to be stronger for your own sake." he stood and turned away as he wiped the top of the phial, opened the front of his visor and downed the dregs of the potion. "...and for the rest of us too." Darwin muttered as the bullet that Royce had shot in him forced it's way out of the wound as it healed. He dropped the phial in the sand, closed his visor and left Royce to heal as he picked up his back pack and rifle and made his way to the makeshift ladder that Jack created in the side of the Carrier.

Jack laid in a prone position atop the Warhammer and watched as Ryu emerged from the access hatch. "Ah it's the blue haired boy from the airship who provided plenty of entertainment before he flee'd and it appears he has just shown me how to access this craft. Now how should I repay him?" he muttered.

Rex nods toward Ratsel. [color=008888] "Yeah, learning under Clarice was kind of the same. Learned a lot, and a lot of headaches, but fun." [/color]
He turns toward Bullet and Zach. [color=008888] "I see, I see. So a freedom fighter and a freelancer, huh? Cool." [/color]
Then the guy looks toward Yukimaru constantly checking herself and sighs. [color=008888] "Excuse me a sec, better make sure the new girl doesn't turn herself inside out." [/color]

He scratches his head as he gets up and walks toward Yukimaru, hands in his hoodie pockets and his headphones down around his neck for once.

"I'm quite sure she's probably just nervous about something or other. But now... I'm rather sleepy. Goodnight everyone." Ratsel picked up her own plate, hurried off to the kitchen to turn off all appliances then started to find a quarters to stay in, only to hear Jack of Blades. Frowning she hid to the shadows towards the deck.

"Yup! *Yawns* I'm tired... Goodnight everybody!" Bullet smiled, wiping the curry sause from her face and started to make her way to a quarters to stay as well, but then got the chills. "Why is it cold???[sub][sub]Heat up![/sub][/sub]"

@Nile: I'm a little unclear on what Eve did. Is she dragging Rozalin along with her or something?

Yukimaru noticed Rex approaching her and focused on him. [color=01B7FF]"Oh! Is there something I can do for you, zam?"[/color] She asked politely as he got closer.

OOC: @Drak: No Eve just tugged on Rozalin once before heading off by herself.

Zach calmly looks to the paranoid girl. "hey, could you grab me some salt?" he then turns back to his meal, without eating, calmy examining his food as he waited.

Bryce got farther down the corridor and stopped to turn to Eve. "Listen, I need you to understand something. That guy up there is dangerous. Extremely so. Some people may die. If you want, you can stay down here to avoid the fight, set up a place for us to hold the wounded, maybe clean up the infirmary. You follow?"

@Salty: They were in the corridor leading up to the access hatch.

"Yes I understand." said Eve although she looked a little upset at the fact Bryce seemed to be treating her like a little girl. "Wait where is the infirmary?"

Darwin finished climbing the makeshift ladder and hoisted himself back up onto the deck of the Carrier and looked around.

Now that the storm had died down sufficiently, Balthier stepped out of the Warhammer, rifle raised, and looked around, trying to spot either Jack or Darwin. Spotting Darwin, Balthier trained his sights on him. "Picking up were we left off..."

Rex scratches his head a bit. [color=008888] "Not really. Just wanted to introduce myself." [/color] He bows slightly toward her, then extends his hand. [color=008888] "I'm Rex. ...You seemed to be freaking out a few seconds ago, anything wrong?" [/color]

"It should be past the mess hall. You don't have to do it, just don't want to pressure you into fighting. Lets go check on the others, give 'em a heads up." Bryce turned back and walked to the mess hall doors.

Rozalin followed after Eve, as from what she remembered about the fight before didn't make her particularly want to go back up and rejoin it. Hearing Bryce, she said to both him and Eve, "I do remember seeing a place that looked like a hospital. I could probably lead us back there." At least I think it looked like a hospital. I've only ever read about them.

[color=01B7FF]"Certainly, zam!"[/color] Yukimaru replied to Zach. She quickly stood up, taking the salt shaker from her table. She hurried over to Zach and presented him the salt shaker with a bow. [color=01B7FF]"Here you go, sir..."[/color] She trailed off, indicating that she was hoping for an introduction.
She momentarily turned back to Rex to say, [color=01B7FF]"Oh, that? That was...nothing, zam."[/color]

@Salty: They should both be below deck right now. I thought Ryu was on the deck now though?

Eve nodded at what Bryce said and followed him into the mess hall. Upon entering the Mess Hall, Eve turned to Rozalin and said "Could you show me where it is and help me prepare it up after we've alerted everyone?" she asked Rozalin politely.

Darwin eventually saw the collapsed bodies of Valvatorez and Fenrich and rolled his eyes at them before sighing and approaching them to check their state.

Jack watched on in interest.

Ryu decides to close and lock the hatch. He then waits outside to see what happens.

"oh, thank you so much! My names Zach, and I owe you a favor for getting the salt. Whats your name?" he took the salt shaker from her hand, beaming at her while he did.

Bryce opened the doors. He said for anyone to hear. "We've got some guy in a mask beating us rather badly up on the deck, anybody able to help?"
