Rex shrugs yet again, then notes Roz's mark flash. [color=008888] "Alright then, subject change. What was that that just flashed?" [/color]

Yukino smiles again. [color=BB66BB] "Nice to make your aquaintance. If you'll excuse me, I'll find myself somewhere to sleep." [/color] She walks into the carrier with a small wave goodbye.

 

[Chungus]

Balthier hmm'd in responce to Bryce, then turned back to Yukino. "No offence madam. But what makes you think there is room for you aboard?" Balthier asked as he walked after her, not all too fond of letting a stranger aboard the carrier.

"Hmm? Oh. You mean this, right?" Rozalin said as she conjured up the mark, though it was smaller and floated above the palm of her hand as she held it out. "This is the mark of the Four-Leaf Clover, of Overlord Zenon, my father." She answered. "I am not sure why it flashed like that. Normally it only responds to my call, so that I can prove I am who I say I am. But recently it has started acting almost of its own accord."

 

[DotSlash]

Rex leans in a little closer to the mark. [color=008888] "I see... maybe it's reacting to some outside force." [/color]

Yukino gives a cold glare toward Balthier as she stops near the entrance. [color=BB66BB] "The fact I've been through quite a bit today, and this carrier seems to be is the only shelter for miles. I'd like not to wake anyone up at the moment with the sound of fighting." [/color] Her hand hovers over the handle of her katana.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Perhaps. I have been experiencing things I never have since coming here. It is possible the mark could be reacting to something. Though I've no idea what that could be." Rozalin replied.

@Dot: Can Rex (or Erica for that matter) happen to sense magic? I keep meaning to bring this up, but I always forget...

 

[Chungus]

"You have only just arived, and already you are throwing around threats? Not a good way to appeal to my sense of hospitality." Balthier replied, moving his hand to the stock of his rifle.

@Drak: Rex... not at all. Erica can but she'd only tell Rex if it was something major.

Rex puts his hand to his chin [color=008888] "Well, since you like reading so much, maybe you'd enjoy writing out a log of what makes the mark flash, I guess. We were talking about a life of death, so your log can start with that....[small]Depressing... [/small]" [/color]

Yukino spins around on her heels and leans toward Balthier in a huff, putting her hands on her hips. [color=BB66BB] "Well, what do you want me to DO to appeal to your hospitality, huh!?" [/color] Her eyes narrow a bit. [color=BB66BB] "I swear if you ask me to sleep with you..." [/color]

@Dot: Well then...

Erica would sense an incredible amount of magical power in Rozalin's mark, several orders of magnitude greater than would be necessary for the creation of a minor image. It would also feel...familiar to her, somehow. Rozalin then dismissed her mark and held the hand she was using for it up to her chin. "Hmm, not a terrible idea. I suppose it couldn't hurt, if only to pass the time."

 

[Chungus]

Balthier chuckled and moved his hand away from his rifle. "Really now? What do you take me for?" he remarked, then crossed his arms. "When one wishes to stay at a stanger's abode, the usual way to go about it is to ask."

Erica's wavering voice rings in Rex's head for a moment. [color=BB1100] "That mark of hers... It's not something to be taken lightly... You may want to help her unleash it... " [/color]

Rex nods along with Roz. [color=008888] "Keep me updated on it then. Erica's telling me that mark of yours may be useful later on." [/color]

Yukino sighs and glares at Balthier as she bows to him slightly. [color=BB66BB] "May I please have a place to sleep, sir?" [/color]
She makes a puffy face like an annoyed three-year-old who didn't get the toy they wanted.

 

[Chungus]

"That wasn't so hard, was it now?" Balthier dryly remarked, but then chuckled at the face Yukino made. "Yes. You'll find the sleeping quarters on the left." I think.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Useful?...Perhaps my father designed it to be something I could use to defend myself? I had not even thought of that. This certainly bears investigation. I will try to keep you informed of anything that happens with it then." Rozalin replied to Rex. She started rustling through her bag, then quietly cursed as she realized she didn't have anything like a journal with her.

Rex signals for Roz to follow him into the infirmary. He starts looking around for a notebook, or something like it. [color=008888] "Should be some sort of notepad around here..." [/color]

Yukino stands back up straight and gives Balthier a blank face and responds in a droning tone. [color=BB66BB]

 "Yes, it was insanely difficult. I think I'm having some internal bleeding because of it. If I die tonight, it's all your fault."

[/color] She sighs a bit and blushes before she heads off. [color=BB66BB] " [small] Thanks... [/small] " [/color]

 

[Chungus]

What a curious individual. Balthier thought as he walked inside also. Not feeling like crossing the broken walkway again to get to the bridge, he decided to rest in the sleeping quarters himself. After picking out a room, he laid down on a bed and fell asleep.

OoC: And I'm off.

 

[Drakmorg]

Rozalin was about to follow Rex when she let out a massive yawn. "I do not feel like worrying about this now. I am going to find a better, perhaps more private, place to sleep." She said to Rex as he walked on without her following. She wandered around the ship for a while before finding the officer's quarters, then fell asleep.

OOC: I going to bed now. G'night folks!

Seeing the princess walk away, Rex lets out a yawn himself. [color=BB1100] Isn't that foxgirl going to kill you tomorrow...? [/color]
[color=008888] Yep... [/color]
[color=BB1100] And you're not worried? [/color]

[color=BB1100] I really don't get you... [/color]
He lays out on the cot he was on before and falls asleep.

Yukino finds a room and lays herself down on a bed. She curls up using her tails as a headrest.

OoC: About time I jumped back in.

Balthier woke up with a soft yawn. He sat up to find a woman with honey-blonde hair and grey eyes sitting at the end of his bed. Taken by suprise, Balthier yelped and jumped back.
Oh. Good morning. the woman replied as she turned around. Just when Balthier was about to demand this person identify herself, he recognized her. It was the silhouette, except she was no longer a silhouette. Balthier could make out all her feature as clearly as any other person. The fact that he could understand what she was saying confused him, but not enough to ask. "You again? How many times must I tell you your pressence is not welcome?" he snarled climbed out of bed and got dressed. The woman shrugged. And I don't paticularry appreciate being barked at every time. But we're stuck with eachother. So you mught as well make it easy on the both of us and get used to the idea I'm here to stay.
Balthier groaned and left the room, slamming the door shut behind him. This of course, did nothing to stop the woman from following him, as she wasn't actually there. Rude.

Bullet slowly started to wake up.

Ratsel was in the mess hall, making lunch.

Bryce pulled himself up. He had fallen asleep modifying his rifle, adding in gravitic manipulators. Sighing, he got back to work, humming 'its off to work we go'
